Last Quarter

June 27 Monday
With a Pisces Moon starting this week, we may feel compassion for childish behavior, yet envision ourselves as mature and project that image. Indeed, we may feel compelled to live up to an idealized characterization of ourselves that somehow may look like traditional, familial depictions of maturity. Overall, the urge to display an authentic adult self is coupled with an ease to adapt in social gatherings. We can transcend personal, hidden motivations for the sake of cultivating open-mindedness.

June 28 Tuesday
Tuesday’s Aries Moon cannot tolerate restriction, especially if it comes from somebody playing boss. Aries wants to operate according to its own dictates. At 12:23 pm, MDT, the Moon enters her last quarter phase, a time when one usually slows down to honestly evaluate what has been attained and then to mull over the next goal. With an Aries Moon at this time in the cycle, the deceleration might be the time it takes a gusty wind to move a weather vane from one direction to another. We may feel inclined to venture in all sorts of directions!

June 29 Wednesday
With Wednesday’s Aries Moon think about your options for the future and their implications. Aspects of our self identity may have changed recently, and we may feel propelled towards a new level of experiencing this. An Aries Moon can be unstoppable once a direction is chosen. Today, however, responsibilities may get in the way, especially those involving family or home. Expectations meet confrontations. A more mature self may face rejection from prior relationships. It may be best to contain one’s self with basic needs and use one’s inner radar for intuitive guidance.

June 30 Thursday
At 5:45 am, MDT, the Moon slips into Taurus, spicing an orientation towards the future with hopes of regaining some grace, beauty, or paradise. This will take a different approach than usual. Try a combination of instincts and intuition to upstage uncertainty. Dress yourself in confidence. Every wardrobe should have such an outfit. It can take us into tough situations that can bring out our potential to indulge in an elegantly mature manner that truly nurtures. And gives us spiritual strength to continue an ongoing development.

July 1 Friday
Friday’s Taurus Moon offers permission to maintain a course of action that is fulfilling or that enhances the image of a vision. This can be as simple as cleaning out one’s work space to make room for what is desired. Our stuff holds memories, some of which are not all that pleasant, like that lovely gift basket that reminds you of the rejection that came with it. Such visible triggers of feelings of unworthiness can block receiving what you crave. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow at 11:30 to noon for the weekend Moon Minute. July 2 Saturday
At 6:10 am, MDT, this Saturday morning, the Moon enters her balsamic phase, stimulating our souls to pursue some seed idea. The Moon is void of course in Taurus from 11:02 am until 2:26 pm, when she moves into Gemini. If you’re shopping during the void Moon, think of how voiding can mean emptying out or negating. Purchases that are not truly ideal for you, may lose their appeal soon afterwards and never be used! The Gemini Moon this afternoon and Sunday can help us detach from the material and lure us into exploring mental territory.

Full Moon Phase

June 20 Monday
Starting this week with a Sagittarius Moon injects a feeling of optimism about discovering what has been sought after. The going may have been rough but there are plenty of opportunities to triumph with one’s personal blend of experiences. It may seem that it doesn’t matter what we do, but it does. Each of us intuitively knows just what we need to do to be responsible for our daily activities. It’s the judgments around what that is, that won’t be easy to free ourselves of today. It may take some elaborate maneuvers to escape societal pressures and achieve mature behavior!

June 21 Tuesday
At 9:34 am, MDT, the Sagittarius Moon goes void of course for over eleven hours. Reality becomes diffused. Some of us may exhibit denial and ignore inconvenient details. Each of us can maintain our own reality or, at least, leave options open. Yet be aware of this caveat: we can be super-impressionable when the Moon’s receptors are wide –open in Sagittarius, a sign that seeks to explore beyond the horizon. At 8:52 pm the Moon enters Capricorn and is at her fullest, opposite the Cancer Sun, at 10:14 pm. Tonight we may recognize and align with our inner authority.

June 22 Wednesday
Wednesday’s full Capricorn Moon may find us struggling to incorporate a crystallized thought of how we can maintain an ever evolving sense of identity. There is a need to overcome fears by recognizing either superstitious components of them or that they are based on past connections that do not exist at the present time. Being responsible for what is in the “now” can liberate us to continue our aspirations. This Capricorn Moon can accelerate our giving new forms to the old structures of our lives if we’re willing to take action.

June 23 Thursday
Thursday morning’s Capricorn Moon projects our thoughts on our public standing and our ability to articulate them. As the day unfolds we may see how those thoughts match our ideals regarding responsibility. A sense of arrogance or humility may result from speaking full heartedly about one’s views. If we have not restricted voicing our opinions, we may find ourselves being adamant about them. At 4:04 pm, MDT, the Moon goes void of course for four and a half hours, idealizing one’s authority. At 7:36 pm the Moon enters eccentric Aquarius.

June 24 Friday
Friday’s Aquarius Moon exhibits disdain for conventional reality and invents ways to defy old perspectives and to extend one’s wisdom into avenues that lead to ever revealing enlightenment. At the end of the Moon’s full phase we are empowered to see more of the personal mystery of who we truly are, and we are given the occasions to demonstrate our allegiance to our authentic selves. The Moon is void of course for most of Saturday. So don’t force an agenda tomorrow. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow at 11:30 to noon for the weekend Moon Minute. June 25 Saturday
At 9:23 am, MDT, the Moon is void of course in Aquarius until 9:03 pm, this Saturday. This meandering state in Aquarius may feel like one is truly marching to a different drum. There are urges for adventure and independence coupled with issues of worthiness and loneliness. The Moon entered her disseminating phase early this morning, mobilizing our personal power and authority. This may be a weird day that ends with a Pisces Moon savoring our mature self-knowledge. Sunday this Pisces Moon offers camaraderie in which to share our hopes and ideals.
