Week of Full Moon

July 18 Monday
We start the week with a gibbous Sagittarius Moon bursting us onto the rim of another reality. The Question is: What special ingredient can each of us bring to it that makes us know it’s absolutely perfect? Is it how you weave people into joy and harmony? Or bring alchemy like sunshine does to the rain drenched desert? With a cooperative spirit salute the sacred in daily routines. And imagine your heart ablaze with excitement to freely give your gifts to the existence before you. This day ends with strong impulses to proceed with spirited intensity.

July 19 Tuesday
The Moon is void of course in Sagittarius until 7:26 am, MDT, when she moves into Capricorn, offering restraint to not rush into things. We can take control of circumstances with slight adjustments and pursue our work with quiet confidence. Take some time to observe and analyze your personal world, especially how you interact with it. Let your imagination take over and engage in some magical realism. Talk to rocks and then listen. They have hidden energies that might offer inklings of what may show up with Thursday’s full Moon.

July 20 Wednesday
We have a Capricorn Moon on the eve of the Full Moon that reminds us of the theme of this cycle: the need to pause, rest, or be still to digest anything we’ve experienced in abundance. Refining that theme today may be difficult as there is tension to act, to do, to construct something with the overflowing stream of ideas and plans that seem to bombard us in a busy-enough life. So instead of energetically throwing yourself into acceleration mode with external affairs, take delight in forays into your internal states. Share ideas and desires with the full Moon tonight!

July 21 Thursday
At 5:00 am, MDT, the Moon was at her fullest setting in the west. This begins a phase of revelations about how we resist or ignore hard reality, or make light of it, or interpret it deterministically. If we have honored quiet time over the passed two weeks and reflected on daily events passively, deep undercurrents full of inspirational creative energy may come to the surface. From 5:00 am until 6:55 am, the Moon is void of course, seeking to silently disperse what is attainable. At 6:55, the Moon enters Aquarius, helping the internal light bulbs to shine on things differently!

July 22 Friday
Friday starts out with the Aquarius Moon bringing people together in spirit and sniffing out the foes. Or helping us notice how people congregate and separate themselves from presumed foes. Observing this dynamic can also reveal the illusions of good times together There’s the opportunity to begin to assimilate this cycle’s realizations. Some of our preconceptions may be shattered, which is a good thing if that allows us to come up with creative solutions for our evolution. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow at 11:30 to noon for the weekend Moon Minute. You can also hear us on the worldwide web at ksfr.org.

July 23 Saturday
We have a Pisces Moon for the weekend, suggesting that we feel the changes we’ve slip into recently and gather with spiritual buddies to pour out the passions we’ve been awakening to lately. This can help align us with a chosen path. At 9:25 am, MDT, Sunday, the Moon enters her disseminating phase, a time to seek resonance with the insights that have come into consciousness over the passed three days. There may be a feeling of internal, emotional unity that’s meant to be celebrated ostensively. Sharing this with others can be infectious!
