Disseminating & Last Quarter Moon

July 25 Monday
With the disseminating Moon entering Aries at 7:32 am, MDT, we can feel most vibrant projecting our personal radiance while sharing the self-knowing that has come from the reflective moments of the passed weeks. Aries can drive us to be totally self-focused yet wholeheartedly in contact with others, especially if we get to stand out a little, or a lot. Let go of inhibitions. Get silly; lighten things up! Sometimes in a climate of laughter, it is easier to reveal some of our most profound insights, even those that bring up regret for old behaviors. The ever-adventurous Aries will help us get over it!

July 26 Tuesday
Tuesday’s Aries Moon leads us to believe we can move through the day with single-mindedness and determination, to participate socially with a hindsight that can help us bridge the gap between familiar perspectives and new ones. We want to face up to underlying realities, even if we are with others who stubbornly stick to contrary views. If each of us tells it as it is without engaging our instinctive, intuitive impulses, we may not perceive the differences. But if we penetrate the underlying nuances that chatter within each of us, and share them, we might pioneer new territory with others.

July 27 Wednesday
Wednesday morning we may feel preoccupied with personal, critical matters. Troubling complications may appear as the Aries Moon goes void of course at 11:23 am, MDT, for 31 minutes, dispersing prickly energy. At 12:54 pm, the Moon enters Taurus, firmly grounded to deal with problems. Let this energy help you uproot any resistance to promoting healthy solutions for today’s challenges. The Moon enters her last quarter phase at 9:19 pm. At this stage there is tension to reorient one’s self from the past to the future.

July 28 Thursday
The last quarter Taurus Moon is aided by undaunted Mars to redirect attention, to help us get from where we’ve been to where we’re heading. Some of us may need persistent effort while others may simply need little touches to make radical changes. Clashes and conflicts can be handled by believing in your own truth-consciousness. Major shifts can occur by enthusiastically expressing thoughts and observing the patterns they conjure up. This could be a journal exercise. And repetitiveness, a clue to future action. Be ready for a slower day with the Moon void of course most of tomorrow.

July 29 Friday
The Taurus Moon is void of course most of today. She is not engaged with the Sun or planets in a major way. Thus she is free to disperse of the dependable Taurian practicality. Be careful; this could be a roller coaster day from the solid hands on stuff to the lofty, yet sometimes spacy, realm of higher states of consciousness. Seek a quiet atmosphere in which to explore new territory. If indecisive, don’t act! At 8:02 pm, MDT, the Moon enters Gemini ready for escapades! Listen to MoonWise tomorrow at 11:30 to noon for the weekend Moon Minute. You can also hear us on the worldwide web at ksfr.org.

July 30 Saturday
We have a Gemini Moon for the weekend, expecting us to converse either with parts of ourselves or others. An internal dialogue with the part of ourselves that resists change and the part that wants to turn things around may be liberating today. Sunday the Moon goes void of course at 3:10 pm, MDT, and enters her balsamic phase at 6:43 pm. So this ending to the week calls for a standstill which can agitate Gemini. Think about a variety of steady movements that impel you inward to purify or release certain awarenesses in preparation for a new Moon on Thursday.
