Full & Disseminating Moon

September 19 Monday
With an Aries Moon there is a tendency to exert one’s feelings. But in putting them out there today, they just might vanish into a foreign darkness, seemingly not related to any of your beliefs or principles. Each of us is presented a threshold to a powerful, promising inner land. By venturing into this strange darkness, we can witness it fading as electrical sparks of new ideas invade our consciousness, wanting our embrace. At 4:36 pm, MDT, the Moon goes void of course until early tomorrow morning. This can put a drag on energy levels, yet enliven the imagination!

September 20 Tuesday
The Moon enters Taurus at 5:47 am, MDT. Much of the day may be spent drawing out the inner riches revealed yesterday. Their substance feels as precious as gold. While fascinated with the contents of our inner worlds, yet recognizing how this material may not work with our familiar old goods or relationships, we are challenged to apply discipline for a new self to flourish. Do we continue to uphold a behavior seemingly honored by others, or do we dare to zealously perform in a manner that flaunts our recent revelations and acquisitions.

September 21 Wednesday
At 5:28 am, MDT, the Taurus Moon entered her disseminating phase. It’s time to demonstrate to ourselves, and perhaps others, what we have learned in this lunation cycle. Is it something we can do with grace and ease or do we awkwardly fumble in showing off our newly acquired experience? Are we able to make the important connections and bring new knowledge to light? There’s motivation to see the worthiness of exchanging our insights for greater clarity yet recognizing with confidence that parts of them are not to be tampered with.

September 22 Thursday
Thursday morning’s Taurus Moon helps us strut our stuff, screen out irrelevant interruptions, and respond to important matters. At 10:41 am, MDT, the Moon goes void of course for twenty-six minutes; good for a coffee/tea break. Then she enters Gemini, circulating issues and transmitting ideas. It’s the autumnal equinox at 4:23 pm, MDT, when the Sun moves into Libra. During this time of balance between light and dark, the Moon reflects back on how well we’ve maneuver through the year and suggests we anticipate when to advance or retreat during this last quarter of this year.

September 23 Friday
Friday’s Gemini Moon has all communication channels open. Personally each of us might need to tweak our messages somewhat for others to be interested and receptive. Our thoughts may get jumbled and come across confusingly as we verbalize them. For important exchanges, seek confirmation of understanding. There will be plenty of time for misconception tomorrow when the Moon goes void of course for most of Saturday. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow at 11:30 to noon for the weekend Moon Minute. You can also hear us on the worldwide web at ksfr.org.

September 24 Saturday
The Gemini Moon goes void of course at 6:57 am, MDT. Since this period lasts until this evening, we may sense greater sensitivity and be defensive about our experiences and what they’ve taught us. At 8:10 pm, the Moon enters protective Cancer, and after midnight at 12:41 am enters her last quarter phase. So our dreams and Sunday’s experiences may present a way of containing what we’ve encountered in this Moon cycle that can orient us to our inner compass in making personal transitions. A personal compass should bring comfort, as sometimes it is needed to get us through rough times.
