New Moon/Solar Eclipse

October 3 Monday
At 4:28 am, MDT, the Libra Moon began a new cycle with the Sun. She is fecundated with the patterns of how we succeed or fail to get others to comprehend the significance of our communication. Do we dramatically toot our horns so that others don’t miss our performance? And is our material fresh and imaginative or repetitive? Do we get the responses we want? All responses are a mirror of our communication, both its conscious and unconscious complexities. So if we are not satisfied with how others respond to our ideas and requests, we need to change the way we communicate.

October 4 Tuesday
With Tuesday’s Libra Moon consider how you balance intuition with reason in your process of conversing with others. Do you use them in a contrasting manner, or do you unknowingly shift from one mode to the other? The Moon goes void of course for almost nine hours at 9:15 am, MDT! This state from one sign to the next can be undifferentiating yet full of elegant insights. Look for sudden hidden nuggets of information to reveal themselves about how set or rigid you may be in your manner of communicating, and perhaps how your personal code of behavior inhibits others from understanding you. The Moon enters unearthing Scorpio at 6:03 pm.

October 5 Wednesday
The Scorpio Moon can stir up deep urges which we can heed in radically different ways than usual. Examine how important these desires are to something of significance for you and how they relate to a sense of commonality with others. Play around with various possibilities. Sometimes we have to take drastic measures to see through muddy thinking, ours or others. Literally play with your thoughts and feelings, and how to express them. How would a child say them? What might a comedian do? Bring your fancies into play. Pop bubbles of the past!

October 6 Thursday
With the Scorpio Moon we can dissect our social interactions to see how well they are meeting expectations. When sharing with others, do we dwell on trivia, or do we stress what deserves attention? Do we let the environment dictate the level of our exchanges? How do we bridge any barrier that prevents us from soulful exchanges of information? Scorpio can be reluctant to express what she’s feeling. Yet when she does, she has a powerful impact that can be transformative for all parties involved. Her emotional release can push one over the edge.

October 7 Friday
Friday’s Sagittarius Moon is in her crescent phase. It’s time to be persistent in developing the theme of this cycle, that of offering significant information. A Sagittarius Moon will go out of her way to make meaningful contact. The path best used today is one full of humor and free of behavioral codes that impede laughter.
