Gibbous, Full, & Disseminating Moon

November 14 Monday
We start the week with a gibbous Taurus Moon. This may help us sense whether or not we are in alignment with various levels of our ideals: those having to do with our values and the use of our personal resources, as well as those levels that associate with humanity. What preferences do we have that trigger our personal enthusiasm or indulgence for certain group behavior? What makes us go willingly into tough, bothersome situations? Make an effort today to study your personal behavior from a variety of perspectives. Mercury went retrograde this morning and supports such introspection!

November 15 Tuesday
The major attraction of Tuesday’s Taurus Moon is its fullness at 5:58 pm, MST. Revelations of this full Moon and its phase, which lasts until Saturday morning, may be about one’s self esteem and how much it depends, or not, on conforming to some group’s reality. Do you prove your worth based on your own criteria or that of social approval. And does this involve condescension on your part or on that of your associates? Does some fellowship diminish or bolster your self confidence? Do you lose parts of yourself while engaging with others, or do you find yourself enhanced, empowered by them?

November 16 Wednesday
The Moon is in Gemini Wednesday, testing us on how well we’re rethinking certain fundamental issues and viewpoints that link us socially, perhaps even nationally and internationally. We may have difficulty stilling incessant internal chatter that keeps rehashing situations. Yet if we do, we can tap into wellsprings of wisdom that can liberate us from exploitation, from being over-influenced by cultural or collective assumptions. Underlying motives can become apparent through restful reflection, as well as a sense of our implicit connectedness globally despite surface appearances to the contrary.

November 17 Thursday
Thursday’s Gemini Moon suggests we study the imposed realities of the supposedly mature adult world and rethink how we might organize the world for ourselves. Give some thought to how such a world could assist us in holding up our end of a relationship. How far would such a world allow you to go astray from the tried and true, or keep you in a rut? Could this world boost your confidence or your insecurity? The thought patterns of Gemini are exceedingly ever-changing today. So our thoughts may be interweaving all sorts of possibilities. Maneuver cautiously Friday morning with a void Moon!

November 18 Friday
Be extra careful traveling, transacting business, and exchanging important information this morning. The Gemini Moon is void of course until 12:42 pm, MST, when she moves into Cancer. This sign reminds us of familial or tribal pressures and responsibilities, and, at the end of the Moon’s full phase, may point out how we’ve stagnated in groups by not distinguishing ourselves from them. Of course the natural support of a family can enhance our self development! Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org. from 11:30 to noon MST for the weekend Moon Minute.

November 19 Saturday
At 12:53 pm, MST Saturday, the Cancer Moon enters her disseminating phase for the next four days. It’s time to show off or demonstrate what you’ve learned in this lunation cycle, which calls for a certain confidence to deal with any obstacles or objections your insights might face. Others might not be supportive of your views of individuality within the spiritual family of humankind. Nevertheless, go with your gut feelings! Weigh and compare obstacles and speak from your heart! Discuss problems you have with certain alliances.
