New Moon & Crescent Moon

February 27 Monday
Monday’s Pisces Moon provokes us into viewing a variety of perspectives to allow a new picture of what’s going on collectively to emerge. Listen to others’ ideas and information on the evolution of human consciousness. How have we humans changed and improved, if at all, in our understanding of our capacities on all levels: physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually? This question flows from the energy of the new Moon at 5:31 pm, MST, that tunes us to the inner planes where everything can be viewed and assessed. Where do you want to be and how will you respond?

February 28 Tuesday
If you’re looking at the big picture, step by step, or holographically, as everything exists in a micro as well as in a macro level, today’s Pisces Moon may bring realizations of what has been, regarding the long uphill trek of humanity, and what can be accomplished. Recurring cycles get emphasized. These can be a regressive loop of repetitive patterns or new ways to experience life. Be in accord with your principles and intuition. Let them guide you. This can give you the serenity to journey on in spite of external strain or conflict that comes from the drama of diverse social viewpoints.

March 1 Wednesday
We have an Aries Moon with which to use our heads to seek some hidden energy to quicken our comprehension of what our place in the greater scheme of the cosmos is. We can be direct and straight on in our pursuit of fresh angles from which to view our lives. Even if we find ourselves looking backwards, the past doesn’t box us in. It can clarify things and illumine a different path to our inner wellsprings where we can be initiated into a new view of reality. Dive in head first! Don’t sleep through the journey to the future like Rip Van Winkle. Be witness to the old ways falling apart.

March 2 Thursday
The Aries Moon plays Aladdin with a magic carpet to offer us an Olympian view of large-scale efforts to hatch the egg of promise for a golden era. This perspective, however, may only be in our imaginations or dreams. Mercury, going retrograde today, emits a feeling of being in a holding tank, or even better, an incubator in which images can be linked, shaped, and nurtured for future emergence. We can be attuned to the truth of our present situation as well as to our high aspirations. We can clear up our doubts and anxious projections by stilling our minds and seeking spiritual harmony.

March 3 Friday
We have a Taurus Moon in her crescent phase, asking us to confront our collective assumptions about the structure of our lives. If we were allowed a clean break from our past, what would we remain connected to? And what would we go out on a limb to access? Put in the context of one day in which to leave the residue of the past with only what will fit in your pockets and your mind, what would that be? There’s an opportunity to be liberated and sustained. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org. from 1:00 to 1:30 pm MST for the weekend Moon Minute.

March 4 Saturday With Saturday’s Taurus Moon we may be able to stretch reality through the use of some artistic form. The planet Jupiter goes retrograde at 11:02 am, MST, and the Moon projects its emphasis on repetitive cycles of social constructs and how we might re-fashion them. On Sunday the Moon and Venus leave earth signs for air signs. The emotional climate shifts from the earthy enjoyment of physical pleasures, the comfort of a secure environment, and/or the satisfaction of self-sufficiency to the airy excitement of newly acquired information, the delight of being respected by peers, and/or the contentment of experiencing our uniqueness.
