Disseminating & Last Quarter Moon

March 20 Monday
We start Spring with a Sagittarius Moon, as the Sun enters Aries at 11:25 am, MST. The Moon is still in her disseminating phase reinforcing our understanding of feelings and behavior that accompany attempts to actualize a bright idea. The urges to do so may not always be followed in any organized fashion. Today we may clearly see the emotional or attitudinal obstacles we succumb to in the face of the quickening allurement of some jewel-like possibility. Some of us rise above the barriers with elaborate maneuvers and find breakthroughs!

March 21 Tuesday
Tuesday’s Sagittarius Moon unloads volumes of views on our high aspirations for this lunation cycle, starting with the changes in attitudes we may have struggled with two weeks ago and the information we sought at that time. Have we gone off on tangents or have we harnessed forces that have renewed our hopes in attaining lofty goals? Are we enthused or manically scrambling through negativity? Ease away from complications. It’s ideal to move beyond the toxic syndromes that the world is juggling at this time. Shape your mental and emotional reality so that you can keep cool in the midst of turmoil.

March 22 Wednesday
If we start the day in quiet reflection, the morning’s void of course Sagittarius Moon offers insights into what binds us and what frees us. At 8:36 am, MST, the Moon enters Capricorn and arrives at her intersection with the earth’s orbit to begin the last quarter phase at 12:10 pm. As she approaches the Sun, she reminds us of what we have been able to accomplish in the context of responding to some noble idea. Yet she encourages us to begin to be aware of new potentials awaiting our attention at the new Moon next Wednesday. This can feel like a confrontation to face rugged circumstances.

March 23 Thursday
We may literally awaken this morning with an understanding of some social or natural phenomenon. The Capricorn moon taps into cosmic intelligence and draws out basic beliefs for us to re-interpret. Can we use this knowledge to leap out of repetitive, dead-end conditioning into behavior that surpasses the confines of our established everyday culture? The Moon goes void of course at 4:30 pm, MST, until early afternoon Friday. Utilize techniques that can materialize the reality you desire while the Moon is releasing the earthy Capricorn energies. Creative visualization is one way!

March 24 Friday
With a Capricorn void of course Moon this morning, align yourself with your goals and with supportive people. Nay sayers and random behavior aren’t welcome when one is on the brink of bridging a deep chasm. The Moon enters Aquarius at 12:21 pm, MST, bringing the wisdom of collective achievements and ancestral guidance to overcome any inertia resulting from a dream-like vision of what one is facing. Leave behind nagging doubts, synchronize with your intuition, and embrace the road into your future. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org. from 1:00 to 1:30 pm MST for the weekend Moon Minute.

March 25 Saturday
With Saturday’s Aquarius Moon we are propelled into observer-mode to notice what is changing and what is staying the same. What trends or large-scale shifts attract us, and what do we want to draw into our personal sphere to shape our future? At 9:59 pm, MST, the Moon moves into her balsamic phase, suggesting we let go of past illusions, un-box ourselves, and be ready to be on the cutting edge of what’s ahead. Sunday morning at 8:18, the Moon goes void of course into the early afternoon. This can be an unpredictable, impractical period that leaves one in a fog. Even in the inner journeys of meditation, it may be difficult to channel some volatile energies. At 1:33 pm, MST, Sunday, the Moon enters imagery-ladened Pisces.
