Disseminating & Last Quarter Moon

April 17 Monday
At 7:15 am, MDT, the Sagittarius Moon enters her disseminating phase, a time to observe flashes of understanding the revelations of last week. Insights on past behavior should, ideally, encourage us to open up and extend our vision towards greater regenerative possibilities. Yet we can get trapped in a regressive loop of letting things slide back into recurrences of old habits and patterns. So lest we disappoint ourselves, now is the time to change in such a way that is obvious to each of us personally, and perhaps to others. There’s a cooperative spirit in the air today that can assist in breaking away from the old and ushering in the new!

April 18 Tuesday
The Sagittarius Moon tells us that the inward journey seems to endlessly expand, somewhat like the Mandelbrot set. The current pattern that we have come to understand may be demonstrated in an ongoing cyclodrama. This can spin out of control unless we realize that we are the sculptors of our circumstances and can reshape their appearance. We can outlast fate. At 12:41 pm, MDT, the Moon goes void of course for over two hours. We may feel like we’ve been swept up by tongues of fire chastising us to release antiquated beliefs. At 3:13 pm, the Moon enters “take charge” Capricorn.

April 19 Wednesday
Wednesday’s Capricorn Moon may feel a bit uneasy detaching from past patterns, yet recognizes that what has been learned is far more valuable than the retention of old habits. There’s a chance to display one’s newly acquired knowledge today, perhaps through a re-organization of values, appearances, or one’s schedule so that they resonate with optimistic possibilities. The Moon goes void of course at 7:15 pm, MDT, for over twenty-four hours. This period of emptying out Capricorn’s propensity for linear time, may feel like the sands of chronology have been scattered by a hurricane!

April 20 Thursday
The Capricorn Moon is void of course most of the day, warping our sense of time and space. Familiar comments for the day may be: “Where am I?” And “I’ve lost track of time.” Fortunately during this gap of "time out of line, and space out of place," the Sun has moved into earthy Taurus since last night, offering some sense of physical reality. Yet we may feel free from its grounding to make emotional and spiritual connections. The Moon enters Aquarius at 7:56 pm, MDT, and begins her last quarter phase with the Sun at 9:28 pm. It’s time to leave what has decayed in the past, and attend to the future.

April 21 Friday
With Friday’s Aquarius Moon notice what kind of ideas are taking shape in your mind and which ones you hold onto and which you let go. Some may have far reaching consequences if developed while others are definitely throwaways. It may be tough to cut a gem into the image you have of it in your vision, but not impossible. Taking the time to focus on a concept from as many views as you can conceive, can lead to an optimal way to develop an idea. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org. from 1:00 to 1:30 pm MDT for the weekend Moon Minute.

April 22 Saturday The Aquarius Moon reminds us to be faithful to our ideals, especially those that support an innovative future that promises to manifest some desire. At 5:03 pm, MDT, the Moon goes void of course, airing out the systematic approaches to activities that Aquarius favors. Strange and surprising events may occur. The Moon goes into Pisces at 10:43 pm, helping us sum up our relationship with our inner muse and how she motivates us to express our individuality. Do your outer actions express your inner worth? If not, can you imagine some outrageous ways to do that throughout the rest of the weekend?
