First Quarter & Gibbous Moon

November 27 Monday
The Aquarius Moon goes void of course at 6:00 am, MST. Our intuitive abilities may be strengthened during the morning hours. As the Moon releases the abstract ideas of Aquarius, we may be able to glimpse new ways for society to continue its technological progress without destroying what we value most. Trust your instincts, especially during this seven hour plus period of a voiding Moon. At 1:20 pm, the Moon enters Pisces, increasing our sensitivity to the pressures of post modern living and rekindling communal bonds around the basic needs of all people.

November 28 Tuesday
Last night at 11:29 MST, the Pisces Moon entered her first quarter phase, telling us it’s time to do something, to stand up and act on whatever has emerged over the passed week in regard to causes that promote the security of the future. The Moon may awaken us this morning to our future hopes and how we can maintain supportive ties with others. That won’t, however, be easy today. We may each feel more inclined to deal with our psychological readiness than to gather support from colleagues. Perceptions may be fuzzy as individuals change their frame of reference while coming to terms with circumstances.

November 29 Wednesday
Wednesday’s Pisces Moon emanates the participation mystique, helping us make alliances that support common causes and that share similar perspectives. There may, however, be a need to clarify the standards expected to be upheld. At 9:29 am, MST, the Moon goes void of course, emptying out seed possibilities for the ongoing expression of creativity. At 4:30 pm, the Moon moves into Aries, reminding us to identify completely with our humanity and its ongoing physical existence. Aries can point out the larger forces that can either hold us back or propel us forward.

November 30 Thursday
The Aries Moon energizes us to take aggressive action to insure that the future contains the best of the past yet is different as evidenced by ever-new advances in human capacity and creativity. The emphasis is on action and finding a way to get into a rhythm of productivity. In the midst of our own struggles we may find ourselves giving priority to the needs of people who demonstrate in some way the fragility of human experience. We may find ourselves going back and forth attending to both our individual wants and those of others.

December 1 Friday
The Aries Moon enters her gibbous phase this morning at 9:02 MST. It’s time to concentrate all stored up energy on allowing the best to come through, or at least on identifying what blocks the unfolding of our natural talents. The Moon goes void of course at 11:41 am for almost seven hours of releasing the good will of Aries. Avoid running in circles the rest of the day. Slow down! At 6:26 pm, the Moon enters Taurus, reminding us to leisurely enjoy nature’s bounty. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MST, for the weekend Moon Minute.

December 2 Saturday
We have a Taurus Moon for most of the weekend, bringing out the earth steward in us. We can evaluate our self-nurturing skills, as well as how we provide sustenance for others. It may be challenging to discern how well we have been able to draw out some potential that is uniquely ours. Sunday can feel like a show down, a confronting of values and the lifestyle we lead. Is there a match? If not, do we have the stamina to make adjustments? At 5:31 pm, MST on Sunday, the Moon goes void of course, releasing the earthy pleasures of Taurus. At 8:05 pm, she enters the multi-faceted world of Gemini.
