Gibbous and Full Moon

September 24 Monday
The Moon voids herself of Aquarius early this morning, and at 6:55 am, MDT, she enters Pisces, challenging us to relate to soft, imperceptible indications of a reality that has not materialized, yet may. The inner workings of our minds, of our imaginations, drive much of our lives. Yet so much of that internal, real activity is hidden, invisible. Notice how much of your mind’s meanderings get voiced today, let alone expressed in some concrete manner. Can you discern which of your mental images get projected onto others just as film on a screen?

September 25 Tuesday
This morning’s Pisces Moon awakens us to powerful feelings to burst forth in a dynamic display of our special abilitities. Can we pull all of who we are into a whirlwind of activity that creates both more intimacy and more freedom in our lives? Try trusting your instincts, especially if they suggest breaking away from the ordinary to engage in some social ritual that can potentially reshape your life. On this last day of the gibbous Moon, it serves us well to engage in a process of gathering whatever is needed, perhaps courage, to perceive the right moments for sharing more of who we are.

September 26 Wednesday
The Moon begins to void herself of all-embracing Pisces at 6:31 am, MDT, until 8:22 am, when she moves into Aries, looking for ideal connections for revealing more of one’s personal identity. The Moon is at her fullest at 1:45 pm, initiating her full phase of revealing how our shared pursuits, interests, or skills draw us together and provide the opportunities to find out more of who one is, what one stands for, and how joint efforts can shape common ideals. Discord, quarrels, and uncensored babbling may arise in social circles today, along with a conscientious willingness to talk things through in an outspoken manner.

September 27 Thursday
The full Aries Moon zeroes in on how common aspirations are being realized individually. Aries is self-focused and willing to include factors other than personal to embrace what is lacking in oneself. This Aries Moon helps us see hidden qualities in others that can sustain us. Each person has gifts of spirit to offer others. It is in such group exchanges that our specialness gets acknowledged and our potential blossoms. Each little distinguishing factor lights up with sparkling significance, and we each find our social niche that favors or flatters who we really are.

September 28 Friday
The Moon begins to void herself of the joyful exertion of Aries at 7:59 am, MDT, until 8:17 am when she moves into Taurus. We may be concerned about our self-sufficiency, knowing the plight of human conditions these days. Yet security is found through maintaining affiliations today. Work out social differences through a process of simplifying approaches. The invisible treasures of one’s spirit can provide for the common good. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MDT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

September 29 Saturday
Saturday’s Taurus Moon can help us see the larger sweep of what the full phase has brought into coalescense since Wednesday, revealing news to hopefully celebrate after having wrestled through some difficult period. At 6:42 pm, MDT, the Moon enters her disseminating phase, a time to recognize the importance of what has come to fruition and begin to demonstrate an understanding of it. The Moon voids herself of the sensual vitality of Taurus from 11:10 pm until 8:34 Sunday morning when she moves into Gemini, urging us to celebrate our diversity with open hearts.
