Crescent and First Quarter Moon

March 10 Monday
The “I’ll do it my way” Aries Moon went void of course this morning at 5:09 am, MT. Our focus gets easily diffused while the Moon depletes the fuel of Aries. At 10:14 am, she moves into the paradise of Taurus and arouses our internal yearnings to create better ways of living. Within each of us lies a natural course for establishing indicators of what we truly value and want. Hopefulness and optimism are companions that can help us face obstacles and figure out how to get around them. The Moon enters her crescent phase tonight at 7:55, urging us to evolve beyond old patterns.

March 11 Tuesday
The crescent Taurus Moon reminds us that we bear within us many past experiences on differing multiple levels that come and go in our consciousness lest we be incapable of functioning due to an inundation of circumstantial information. Bringing out some hidden contents of our psyche may be easy today. Yet selectivity is important if we want to explore that which resonates with and revives our soul. Sort out emotional obstacles and show appreciation for practices that open you to or renew a resolve to be receptive to divine inspiration. Be outside where you can touch the grace of nature.

March 12 Wednesday
This morning’s Taurus Moon reflects the world we recognize contrasted with how our thoughts and values may transform it. With bats and bees vanishing, this can be alarming. Loyalty to everyday modern customs may bring about the decline of our natural resources. How we feel about the earth is an internal matter for each of us. Ponder on how your heart feels about the earth as the Moon voids herself of sensuous Taurus for twenty-eight minutes beginning at 11:26 am, MT. At 11:54 am she moves into inquisitive Gemini, evoking a difficult to disguise curiosity about hidden matters.

March 13 Thursday
With this Thursday’s Gemini Moon we may be fascinated with obsessions to have what others have. Issues of commonality can bring up rivalry. If we listen to clashing perspectives, we just might find alternatives that emancipate us from stale ideas, or interpretations of concepts, and that transport us into a more expansive view of things we’ve known all along. Our future may improve if we take a personal leap in our capacity to see things from differing views. Think of how much your beliefs about the world have developed through the various stages of your growth, and consider that there may be no limits to that growth.

March 14 Friday
The Gemini Moon entered her first quarter phase at 4:46 am, MT, telling us that if we want to make deep contact with inner qualities and feelings and engage them, we need to be vigilant for the right moments to act, both by eliminating non essentials and by cultivating our soul’s vitality. Being aware of what is driving your emotions can provide a course of action. The Moon switches signs with a brief void of course period between 2:23 pm and 2:37 pm. She glories in her home sign of Cancer most of the weekend. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MST, for the weekend Moon Minute.

March 15 Saturday
The Cancer Moon warms our desire to enhance the sacred relationship between our inner and outer selves. Listen to personal yearnings, especially if they transcend your normal concerns. They may be coming from your innermost soul with a way of taking you beyond some past hurdles, or simply out of the ordinary humdrum of your weekend. Sunday morning offers some dramatic leaps forward. The Moon goes void of course at 12:58 pm, MT, Sunday, for a little over six hours. While the Moon washes herself of Cancer, be protective of your feelings and rely on your own thoughts about what to do. The Moon moves into high-spirited Leo at 7:04 pm.
