Full and Disseminating Moon

April 21 Monday
The week starts with a buoyant clarity about how to maneuver through the shifting demands of our physical reality. The Scorpio Moon beckons us to investigate our feelings about our repetitive Monday routines. Do some of them seem impossible to change yet their staleness weighs heavy on us? What if we changed just one little action? What if we looked out the window and avoided looking in the mirror? What if we set off in a different direction, throwing all resistance out the window? What if we contacted those who rely on us and said, “Today I am on a quest for far-reaching activities!”?

April 22 Tuesday
The Scorpio Moon is void of course until this afternoon. She is spilling out the deep insights of Scorpio that come with intimate sharing. Such soul knowledge presents us with a choice stemming from self-love and self-preservation to pursue new experiences by simply changing a few behaviors or to fortify the ego we have known by hiding whatever threatens to undo it. Self-control may be difficult to muster even though it is easy to be private, very inwardly oriented during a voiding Moon. At 3:07 pm, MT, the Moon moves into Sagittarius, emphasizing the larger forces that can accompany and support self-re-organization.

April 23 Wednesday
There is tension in the sky with this Sagittarius Moon. We may be internally resonating with the fire of fresh ways of seeing things in our hearts, but the rewards of comprehending our inner passions may be delayed. Readiness is everything along with believing in the possibilities of what you feel. We may find ourselves acquiescing to others, seeking approval. Remember, you are one of those others to someone else. Be tolerant. Everyone is in the same boat. As earthlings we share a common destination. Make adjustments for security and freedom needs, as well as for those of dependence and independence.

April 24 Thursday
With Thursday’s Sagittarius Moon we may feel like making big things happen, yet overlook the details. We are between old and new ways. Change is imminent. It’s time to demonstrate our awareness of that with the Moon entering her disseminating phase at 6:59 am, MT. Before letting go of some old attachments, consider what is indispensable both to you and to the planet we inhabit. Then open a space within you for preparing for and loving the changes that are asked of you. The Moon goes void of course at 3:38 pm. For the rest of the day she is blowing out the enthusiasm of Sagittarius. Retreat to prepare for change.

April 25 Friday
With the Moon in Capricorn we may encounter tests of our capacity to shoulder burdens. There are opportunities to attract fresh approaches that feel perfect. Such encounters that support one’s beliefs may seem like they are connected to deep inner resources. Their familiarity breeds a certain freedom to go beyond old boundaries, to travel roads less frequented. Capricorn loves the status quo yet strives to know the inner essence through the journey of self-discovery. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 1:00 to 1:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

April 26 Saturday
With Saturday’s Capricorn Moon, subtle messages from unseen influences may coalesce around us, reinforcing our trust in what we learn from our interior life. With this we may recognize a freedom to express what has inspired us. Goodliness may prevail. On Sunday at 8:18 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course for over seven hours of shoveling out the authenticity of Capricorn. By being receptive during this time we may witness some ideal in concrete form. At 3:27 pm, Sunday, the Moon moves into change-friendly Aquarius. Thoughts quicken with sudden fluctuations.
