Full and Disseminating Moon

September 15 Monday
The Pisces Moon entered her full phase at 3:13 am, MT. This is when many things come to light in our consciousness. In this lunation cycle, the realizations are about how nonmaterial things manifest in our minds, how and what do we learn from our instincts, and how the intangible information they provide mixes with the cultural process of informing us on matters that may or may not fit into the visions that our dreaming selves would like to produce. How much of what we learn is just a social folk dance with little semblance to the rhythms that make our hearts sing?

September 16 Tuesday
The Moon is in Aries reflecting a vast reservoir of fuel to move in a direction away from inadequate or volatile conditions, either of which can be one’s internal states or external circumstances. To change course, we will need to concentrate on and expand our inner fire, to seize opportunities to engage the wonderful world of curiosity that opens up more options. A broader view can motivate actions formerly beyond one’s considerations. Vulnerable situations, where trouble is stirred up, may arise that can trigger defensiveness or aggression for self-protection.

September 17 Wednesday
With this Aries Moon, facing up to one’s instinctual powers and the automatic way in which they operate, may lead one in a direction that merges with some longed-for ideals. We may feel deeply our highest aspirations and know on a gut level which intrusions and struggles prevent attaining them. At 4:25 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for two and a half hours of putting out the ever-ready energy of Aries. During this time we may be more susceptible to our weaknesses. At 6:57 pm, the Moon moves into the physically-sustaining elegance of earthy Taurus.

September 18 Thursday
With this Taurus Moon there are reminders of what is truly worthwhile to us. By recollecting what was valued in our first seven years of living on this planet and matching those memories with what is basically important to us today, we may come to understand some of our fundamental truths. The Moon enters her disseminating phase at 1:52 pm, MT. This is when we can start to deeply recognize the similarities and differences while comparing things such as our past experiences and values with the present ones. Spend some time throughout the rest of the week=2 0cultivating an evaluation of how you have danced through life.

September 19 Friday
With this Taurus Moon, using free association of concrete images, especially of key learning moments throughout our lives, we may get insights that help us get past emotional obstacles. With this knowledge we can contact our own inner source of power and demonstratively mobilize ourselves towards a greater integration of our life experiences. At 4:51 pm, MT, the Moon starts to void herself of Taurus, leaving some of us on shaky ground. Things may clear up when she moves into fact-filled Gemini at 9:17 pm. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

September 20 Saturday
With this Gemini Moon for the weekend, we may be sensitive to the nuances that curtail our learning from others or aware of structures that confine us or cover up what we need to know. A raw honesty helps us piece things together in order to move away from traps of deception. We can develop bonds of mutual sustenance by consciously and unconditionally allowing space for our companions to grow. If we let go of the old stories we repeat, we might, more easily, sing new ones. Changing the focus of our attention is the keynote of the last quarter phase that begins Sunday night at 11:04 MT.
