Balsamic and New Moon

November 24 Monday
The balsamic Libra Moon brings a keen awareness of there being so much more out there to learn. It’s like being on one side of a fence, sensing all sorts of conceivable possibilities of what is on the other side. The problem is that it is elusive. How do you respond to what’s there when you straddle the wall and face fog so dense that your arm is no longer visible when you reach out to grasp a handful of mist? From 10:45 to 10:54 am, MT, the Moon voids herself of Libra and moves into the shadowy realm of Scorpio at a time when she is practically devoid of light. This signifies a time of deep and profound resignation to life’s greater mysteries.

November 25 Tuesday
With this balsamic Scorpio Moon we may mull over past desires and the hardships that arose from unfulfilled ones. What is remarkable, however, is how many of the desires that were manifested or even those that were never attained has one been able to transcend. How far has one pushed oneself beyond former conditions? There may be encounters with both old and new acquaintances that can trigger different explanations for former habits and a feeling of something about to happen building up. Staying calm and figuring out what’s next may try our patience.

November 26 Wednesday
The Scorpio Moon goes void of course at 5:33 am, MT, loading the atmosphere with a feeling of “too-muchness,” as she relea ses the closeness and intimacy of Scorpio throughout the day. As so many of us may be focused on tomorrow’s holiday, there may be confusing haste to hurry things up, to get out of the everyday boxes we fill with routines, when, in fact, the day calls for deep resignation. Before the Moon moves into Sagittarius tonight, the planet Pluto enters Capricorn, sending out an intensely powerful vibration that it is time to face some immense difficulties and some raw truths.

November 27 Thursday
There’s a new Moon at 9:54 am, MT, in Sagittarius, a sign that celebrates gatherings that recognize common bonds. The new Moon prompts us to reflect on how we participate in such events. Today’s holiday offers an ideal setting for such observations. There is, however, something deviating from the norm for a Thanksgiving Day, a sense of major changes emerging that cannot be ignored.  ; With Sagittarius we may need freedom of movement along with the support that comes from the company of others even amidst strong arguments and unusual opinions. Wishing you all a gracious Thanksgiving Day!

November 28 Friday
There may be much restlessness with this Sagittarius Moon, along with a need for generosity and lots of space both for self and others to feel at ease. Structures that bring things together are ideal for identifying group behaviors as long as one doesn’t feel trapped. Yet in the context of this lunation, such a feeling is important to note and analyze. The Moon begins to void herself of adventurous, team-loving Sagittarius at 5:54 pm, MT, until tomorrow morning. This may leave us feeling scattered. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

November 29 Saturday
The Moon moved into Capricorn at 10:48 am, MT, and immediately confronted Pluto and reflected the inevitable destruction and renewal linked to that planet. Many connections and exchanges can be made on the paths taken today. And there are opportunities to acknowledge the contributions of others and receive some personal recognition as well. Sunday may seem burdensome, but if responsibilities are handled in a hardy, no nonsense way, especially those that entail social obligations, there may be a solid appreciation for one’s capacity to take charge and get things done.
