Gibbous and Full Moon

January 5 Monday
The Moon is void of course in Aries until 8:44 am when she enters self-sufficient Taurus. During the early morning we are challenged to see both how we attend to our personal needs as well as those of our society. Understanding where and how what seems most private churns and merges with what is public leads to worthwhile expectations, which, in turn, can motivate us to be attentive to all sensory input that Taurus pursues. Our senses are the great wonders of the world which keep producing more wonders. To fully appreciate them, we need to be in a receptive mode, allowing space for their mysterious nature to embrace us.

January 6 Tuesday
With this Taurus Moon we are prompted to secure a flow of information from two different levels: the depths of our souls and the physical activity surrounding us. We can use this knowledge to nurture and protect our relationship with the supernatural. Strong connections help us to detect what is too extreme, what to take seriously and what to discard. It is difficult to assign value to the all-encompassing energies of Spirit. The Moon goes void of course at 11:05 pm, MT, until late morning tomorrow, shedding the animalistic pleasures of Taurus. During this time our senses can be highly refined.

January 7 Wednesday
While the Taurus Moon is void of course this morning, we20can be easily susceptible to psychic energies. At 11:12 am, MT, the Moon moves into inquisitive Gemini. =2 0Many pictures may come to mind about how spiritual strength endures and inspires us. At 3:42 pm, the Moon enters her gibbous phase, offering us elaborate details about how to refine our pursuit of seeing through the veils of inner sight. By this stage of a cycle the worst can be over. It benefits us to accumulate as much strength as we can to willingly trust our instincts and emotions in raising our consciousness.

January 8 Thursday
With this Gemini Moon our ideas may illustrate the power of our inner faculties to give shape to our reality. Responding to whatever form our imaginings present is important no matter how inexperienced we may feel about our psychic abilities. Trusting oneself on this level is often safer than relying on those of a stranger. The Moon goes void of course at 11:40 pm, MT, blowing off data-packed Gemini into midmorning tomorrow. During this time we may vacillate between non-linear and rational thought. And our dreams may be full of symbolic images.

January 9 Friday
Our reaction time may be considerably slowed down with the void of course Gemini Moon this morning. At 11:14 am, MT, the Moon moves into the soul-rich world of Cancer, vividly full of emotionally charged images. Our feelings may be intensely empowered by confrontations that either uphold or threaten our beliefs about p sychic faculties. We may boldly share how we feel as a demonstration of a social experiment. Being vulnerable can sometimes be a display of power. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

January 10 Saturday
With Saturday’s Cancer Moon we may experience a quickening of our feelings as they are being impressed by the flow of weekend rituals. There is much to be learned from simply accepting whatever bubbles up to decorate our world. This attunes us to the full Moon this evening at 8:27 MT, which begins to reveal our levels of receptivity and acceptance of breakthroughs from hidden realms that, if heeded, can restructure our world. The Moon voids herself of Cancer’s nature to birth new realities from 9:27 pm until 10:41 am, Sunday when she moves into ostentatious Leo to entertain us with interpretations.
