Last Quarter and Balsamic Moon

March 8 Monday
This morning’s void of course Sagittarius Moon offers several changing viewpoints, leaving us forgetful of our own interests. At 10:13 am, MT, the Moon moves into the self-mastery mode of Capricorn. And we may feel changes in our internal spiritual fire that prompt us to establish some new priorities. One of them may be to sustain inner emotions that provide a better structure for overall caring and loving. Maintaining an overview of how you are experiencing a sense of renewal at this time may also help. Certain ordeals may be a necessary exercise in making profound transitions to other levels of being.

March 9 Tuesday
With this Capricorn Moon we may accumulate many examples of the role our emotions play in renewing our spirit and how we can use them to get through trying circumstances. Our brains may be busy with big ideas. Capricorn promotes realistic interpretations and can bring about practical applications. A certain restlessness permeates any ambitious thoughts. A part of us may want to get down to the nitty-gritty of a situation. The best compass for today may be a generous dose of pragmatism that fits one’s inner nature.

March 10 Wednesday
A quiet observation mode comes with this Capricorn Moon that can bring an inner serenity even though turmoil can be seen in all directions. Mars goes direct this morning arousing an energetic expression of passion. At 2:59 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for almost eight hours of shaking off the seriousness of Capricorn. During this time a sense of reality may slip away, replaced by day dreaming or strange imaginings. Certain dreams or visions, however, may be brought into concrete form with this Moon. Capricorn can be adept at manifesting things on the material plane, especially with the magic of a voiding Moon!

March 11 Thursday
The Aquarius Moon is often known for a feeling of coolness or detachment, but not this morning’s Moon. There’s a fired up mysterious aura that takes us into complicated situations. And in the midst of complexity, we are asked to prioritize by putting some new inclination at the head of the list. The Moon enters her balsamic phase at 11:02 am, MT, when multi-processing is at its height, and transcending present conditions is required. A new inspiration needs attention. It’s fragile and delicate. Aquarius can take what is broken and not only fix it but also improve it beyond expectations.

March 12 Friday
The Aquarius Moon disturbs complacence and chooses a whirlwind of activity over a singular, hum-drum task. All senses are focused on what lies ahead. Being prepared for what is to come means experimentation for Aquarius. Some of that can be unrealistic today, even verging on the impossible. There’s a variety of stimuli that may trigger some antiquated emotional responses, in which case we have the opportunity to throw them out and choose new ones. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

March 13 Saturday
The Moon blew off innovative Aquarius this morning and at 11:44 am, MT, moved into sentimental Pisces. Our dreams of fresh, warm days ahead may be shadowed by the reminiscence of darker realities. No matter whether or not an ordeal lies ahead, we can feel the blessings of following inspirations. On Sunday all sorts of ideas blend together and nervous energy speeds up. The anticipation of Monday’s new Moon is drawing us into the realms of existence beyond the physical. Sentiments become more important than the objects that trigger them.
