Disseminating and Last Quarter Moon

May3 Monday
With this disseminating Capricorn Moon, assessment of how well we are meeting expectations of our own actions comes with a little concentration on how we handle self-imposed requirements. Capricorn values how things are done more so than what is actually done. Capricorn often premeditates activities, and its inner thought process often produces new ideas. If some innovation is uncovered and pursued, the adjustments needed must be allowed to unfold at their own pace. One also needs to be convinced that something of great worth will come out of the interactions called for.

May 4 Tuesday
With this Capricorn Moon there may be bursts of dissatisfaction, fear, or joy over what has come to light about inner and outer forces that motivate one. Radical changes may be in order to grow into one’s ideal state. At 1:07 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, shoveling off the intolerant, belittling thoughts that can slip into Capricorn’s mind. We too can sweep off anything that blocks us from attaining our ideal self image. At 2:52 pm, the Moon moves into the transformative impulses of Aquarius. With this sign we can leave behind nagging doubts about our ability to change behavior and invent new links among our complex parts.

May 5 Wednesday
This Aquarius Moon highlights our knowledge about how we move from one level of existence to another. Sometimes we get stuck on one way of solving a problem, and then a simple acceptance of another way to resolve an issue changes everything. We need to remember and anchor that easy rapport in our habitual behavior, whether it is with another person’s view or with our thoughts matching our feelings. Embodying a practice of slipping into another reality to be in sync with parts of oneself or someone else, of getting caught up in a harmonious reality, can improve the structure of one’s life on several levels.

May 6 Thursday
Late last night the Aquarius Moon entered her last quarter phase. This is a time for overcoming barriers to new alliances. In this cycle that may involve multi-tasking or networking to find a place for a newly structured sense of oneself to shine. There is a strong feeling of coming out of dormancy or of some hidden condition. Our minds may seem to be in the dream-state seeing all sorts of new ideas flitting about. Some of this may be a bit surreal. Some of the insights assist in seeing connections previously missed. All of today’s images can be used to develop major identity changes or adjustments.

May 7 Friday
The Moon moved into the unifying field of Pisces early this morning. Our minds may be conjuring up some attractive image of a newly integrated self, supported by hopeful, optimistic thoughts as a result of some self-reflection. We have the opportunity to intimately explore our specialness and how we venture forth prepared to play it out there in the world. And today we can experience life’s fullness by expressing our feelings with conviction. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

May 8 Saturday
Saturday’s Pisces Moon brings a strong feel for the myriad interconnections and interdependencies that our emotional states have with our external growth and development. We have several opportunities to set our lives in order so that we become more open to life’s enriching possibilities. On Sunday at 2:12 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, dissolving the inspirational juice of Pisces for a little over an hour. During this time our ideals can be surprisingly well nurtured. At 3:29 pm, Sunday, the Moon moves into physically active Aries. Our hearts can drive us to openly express more of whom we feel that we are.
