Last Quarter and Balsamic Moon

November 29 Monday
The day starts with a blast of empowerment that heightens awareness of the interconnection between things. It’s up to each of us to harness this energy and direct it. The Virgo Moon offers the know-how that can playfully hone in on the vital links to be used. This is a day to express feelings, not hide them. Such a vocalization can trigger “a-ha” moments that can lead to major changes. Giving attention to emotions can push aside rational arguments for sticking with the usual everyday responses to situations. Instead we get greater clarity on how the pieces of our lives fit together.

November 30 Tuesday
The Moon is in Libra, embellishing sensitivities to the truth. We need to let our intuition guide us to find bold decisiveness that brings about powerful changes. Libra wants to make meaningful improvements that create harmony and a sense of rightness. Today holds the promise of what can be, but it is important to recognize that what already exists, is a part of the same thing that is yet unknown. What is old and no longer useful is often the foundation to innovation. Libra is a turning point sign. It takes what has been and gradually assimilates it into what is to come. Libra is the bridge that strives to close gaps.

December 1 Wednesday
Today’s Libra Moon starts with a sense of foregoing everything that does not do justice to one’s commitments. Libra is usually not picky. A common mantra for her has to do with liking and being liked, but today her capacity to face up to some raw truths, revealed in contrasting circumstances, is being tested. What is needed is a release of an old way of behaving and clarity on how to act in a new context. Support comes with the balsamic phase beginning at 11:12 pm, MT. This phase is about the willingness to let go of old ways so that a fresh, new approach can be birthed.

December 2 Thursday
The Moon is voiding herself of collaborating Libra until 7:44 am, MT, when she moves into the penetrating waters of Scorpio. During this balsamic phase with the Scorpio Moon we can detach from old ways, eliminate the useless ones, and unwrap ourselves from non essentials so that we can mine the basics for a new awareness of their treasures. We have the opportunity to take a leap of faith in our intuition when it tells us that we’ve found the vein of gold. At its best Scorpio can help us rise above circumstances and see things anew. There’s a chance of working miracles and getting what is wanted.

December 3 Friday
With this Scorpio Moon we can make a major move in accepting changes. By taking on a spirit of freedom and shaking off any headstrong willfulness induced by dark emotions, we can release new visions of our future held deep within us. When Scorpio releases separating thoughts and feelings and goes deep in life-sharing, it brings about a closeness, even a union, with just about everyone and every part of who we are.

December 4 Saturday
The Moon moved into the profound, deep insight of Sagittarius this morning. With a mind on the future, we may encounter all sorts of options today. Sagittarius can take us on a journey inward to connect to our inner source for reappraising our lives. On Sunday at 10:36 am, MT, the Moon conjoins the Sun for a new Moon setting off a theme of dealing with enduring structures in our lives. What is of such tremendous importance and value to our souls that it continues to be prominent in our lives, particularly in that area that is described by the strong beliefs of Sagittarius.
