May 2 Monday
We have a Taurus Moon on this last day of the Moon cycle, bringing us sensual images from the unconscious realm about unnoticed burdens. There’s a foreshadowing of some personal things that need to change if we want to make the most of what we have. After midnight at 12:51 am, MT, there’s a new Moon, shaping our dreams into a reality show of our present situation with some new elements, perhaps just feelings never before associated with images that come in the still of night. This new Moon begins a void of course period that lasts till Wednesday morning, prolonging the quietness throughout Tuesday.

May 3 Tuesday
The new Taurus Moon is void of course all day, shaking off the solidness of this earth sign. This can give the day that vaguely disturbing feeling that sometimes comes before the abrupt awakening of earthquakes. We may be unable to avoid the influence of external stimuli. A voiding Moon is like stripping naked in public or being cut open in surgery. There’s an immediate vulnerability to the environment. It’s easy to be compliant and adaptable and unrealistic at the same time. If you get mired down in a rut, make note of it as such a situation can be most informative of this lunation’s theme on the baggage we bear.

May 4 Wednesday
The Taurus Moon is still void of course this morning, and Mother nature’s elementals are offering some clear guidance if we take the time to notice and listen. At 11:09 am, MT, the Moon moves into quick-witted Gemini and bombards us with amorphous imagery. Too much curiosity can distract and take us off course from identifying behavior that addresses burdens. Vigilant tending to details around any situation that brings up baggage can abruptly display a blueprint of some related habit. Whereas chasing after every fascination can disrupt the process of gathering leads as to how we bear our load.

May 5 Thursday
With this Gemini Moon information arrives about how to stand up for one’s needs when it comes to getting out from under a heavy burden. Plenty of illustrative examples surround us which can help us explore a vast overview of problems. Gemini can be intellectual, scientific, and matter-of-fact, but scatters attention easily and with distractions, skims the surface instead of going deep. Then only the obvious or first impressions get attention. Gemini needs to slow down and smell the lilacs. When enough data is gathered, this sign can combine it all into a new synthesis and branch out in diverse directions.

May 6 Friday
With this Gemini Moon we feel like we’re going in all directions at once, and restless to get into new territory. At 2:12 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, leaving the fidgety Gemini in the wind along with our ability to clearly navigate. Trajectories seem to dissolve into thin air. At 8:32 pm, the Moon moves into the changeable waters of Cancer. We may become easily influenced by the needs of others, taking on their burdens, putting them first over our own.

May 7 Saturday
Last night the Cancer Moon entered her crescent phase, a time when we’re drawn to what has emerged and what is needed next. This Cancer Moon gives us a vast overview of the clashes and struggles which have transpired this week. Conflicts in which you submitted to the consequences are worth analyzing as well as those in which you came out on top. On Sunday burdens show up around issues of equality and cooperation. We may start something but have little staying power or get into arguments while playing the devil’s advocate. High expectations can dissolve into a tit-for-tat battle.
