Last Quarter and Balsamic Moon

May 23 Monday
This Aquarius Moon is a virtual treasure trove of resources, the most important of which are inclinations to pursue some basic truths that seem to race through our collective consciousness today. Aquarius is good at searching for how to apply new insights. The best quality of today is a wonderful sense of protection and guidance like a warm wind gently hugging you with niceness, unless you have difficulty receiving love. Sometimes our inhibitions are self-inflicted restraints which blind us to grace. Sometimes Aquarius is aloof and inflexible, insisting on being in the world without reference to others, even those unseen.

May 24 Tuesday
The Aquarius Moon is voiding herself of quirky Aquarius until 6:24 am, MT, when she moves into the easily suggestible vibes of Pisces. At 12:52 pm, the Moon enters her last quarter phase, a time to assume the onus of responsibility for all the burdens, the baggage that we have carried, and recognize the core essence of that behavior so that we can lighten our load and focus on what’s most important for us now. The enduring life force within us is stirring up desires for more appropriate behaviors that affect the conditions in which we live. Pisces can help us give birth to something better.

May 25 Wednesday
With this morning’s Pisces Moon we may feel like finding meaning in the information we’ve gathered lately, paying attention to details and evaluating relationships, determined to work out some recent tensions. The Moon goes void of course at 12:15 pm, MT, until tomorrow evening. During this period, while she is rinsing thin-skinned Pisces, it is more important than other times to let your conscience be your guide. A sense of insecurity may prevail, and following rules may be comforting. Pisces is easily impressed and may over-react no matter the nature of the stimuli.

The Moon continues to wash Pisces off herself until this evening. This Pisces Moon may find us clearing out psychological blockage as if we were scrubbing down for surgery. Pisces easily feels emotional pain. The problem is that sometimes it belongs to other people. Pisces can be a psychic sponge, absorbing whatever it touches. During a Pisces void of course Moon it is best to be cautious about getting involved in prickly situations. At 6:36 pm, MT, the Moon moves into outgoing Aries, and we may become more spontaneous in our actions, yet still insecure or doubtful around others.

This Aries Moon brings an eagerness to explore alternatives to how we deal with excess baggage. We may feel fired up to shift through the raw data of our recent experiences. A desire to be tough, however, may be dampened and slowed down by certain vulnerabilities. Meeting expectations will take discipline and the right action to hold things together. Our minds may be popping with pregnant ideas calling for adjustments. Sunday at 7:02 am, the Moon moves into the fertile ground of Taurus. A variety of creative options show up with all the color and temptation of a summer fair. Outer stimulation can dissipate focused energy unless it is well tempered with the wealth of one’s inner resources.
