This contrasts in a somewhat humorous way with the vagueness of the early morning. A series of reactive behaviors may be set in motion, leaving us wondering about the meaning of it all. This afternoon the Moon returns to the degree at which she last conjoined with the Sun, offering a clearer vision of behavior related to the learning process or the gathering and use of knowledge.

Even though the Moon is in relationship-oriented Libra, we may feel like withdrawing to touch base with those wise parts of ourselves that have sustained us with their spiritual knowledge. It’s a day for acting on simple truths and fulfilling what brings satisfaction. Gentleness is the virtue of the day and can have a taming effect. Libra can provide the grace of allowing our knowledge to transport us into hidden imaginary encounters where things can be rearranged and redistributed to create a harmonious ordering of interactions. As the day wanes, day dreaming increases.

There is great potential in social interaction, especially if one can integrate impulses with poise while disregarding ego desires. New Moon’s bring brighter possibilities along with the promise of transitions if willing to learn about one’s patterns.

With this Scorpio Moon we can jump to a new level of awareness by not relying on old ways of thinking. Scorpio has a way of seeing things anew with a detachment from the past. Follow up on hunches. What is obvious and at the center of attention may be inadequate when it comes to transcending limited analytical approaches to improving conditions. There’s much pleasure in socializing this evening although expectations might be shattered by ideas that take one beyond the usual chit chat.
