Disseminating and Last Quarter Moon

November 14 Monday
The Cancer Moon brings instinctual alertness. Every cell of our bodies seems awake and watchful. Hopefulness is afoot, delivering all of our basic needs. We can face fears about lacking essentials and release them like washing dirt off our hands. Fear just complicates matters; trust can simplify. At 2:06 pm, MT, the Moon enters her disseminating phase. This begins four days of celebrating some truth you have discovered about yourself recently that calls for social experimentation. It’s time to step outside of one’s usual behavior and do something differently, something personally extraordinary.

November 15 Tuesday
This Cancer Moon wants simple things: energizing food, peaceful calm interactions with others, and the common bonds of close relations that reinforce stress-free patterns. Understanding how people play off one another comes by balancing out emotional needs in group situations. Everyone and everything has a place. Today it is important to recognize what one is responsible for without encroaching on someone else’s space and duties. Cancer can feel divided between engaging and withdrawing. An ideal would be to find a reciprocal response to what needs to be taken care of.

November 16 Wednesday
The Moon has been voiding herself of Cancer since late last night, filling dreams with strange images and camouflaging the difference between being asleep and being awake. At 9:17 am, MT, the Moon moves into demonstrative Leo, and we feel like showing off. Ideally that will be a display of some emotional progress. If you’ve been feeling drained over the past couple of weeks, today offers a giant boost of energy. Make the most of it by tackling tough work. You’ll feel like you are in the flow of natural grace, awakening to a new way of accomplishing things. All sorts of associations are evoked.

November 17 Thursday
With this disseminating Leo Moon, insight is a gift waiting to be used. Leo likes to go public in search of feedback. Heeding intuitive messages linked to one’ memories, Leo can choose social gatherings that reveal more of the truth about the Leo part of us than the typical misconception this sign experiences by naively expecting an ideal reception. The mature Leo is called upon to protect the eternal child Leo in us. It does help, however, for even the adult to have a playful disposition while taking part in friendly associations where liking and being liked is the common exchange.

November 18 Friday
The Leo Moon enters her last quarter phase at 8:09 am, MT. From now through Monday it’s time to overcome barriers to new alliances. This can be done with an inner resolve to re-orient oneself. At 12:06 pm, the Moon goes void of course for three hours of dousing out the highly passionate drives of Leo. During this time fantasies and strangeness may prevail. At 3:19 pm, the Moon moves into productive Virgo, and there’s lots of help and hopefulness! Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute.

November 19 Saturday
With this Virgo Moon comes a demand to act in ways one feels inadequate to perform. Careful thinking and concentration can bring us through challenges and help us end up in a good social milieu. With some effort on Sunday we can make a dream a reality. Some things no longer work but can be replaced. At 3:21 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course, sweeping off the remains of meticulous Virgo for almost three hours. Practicality seems non-existent during this time. Taking guidance from one’s intuition can ease feelings of overwhelm. At 6:16 pm, the Moon moves into affable and obliging Libra.
