First Quarter and Gibbous Moon

June 25 Monday This feisty Virgo Moon can’t leave well enough alone. Every since this day began, there’s been a restlessness, hard to define, but exhausting. We may feel consumed by some ideal but confused about how to ground it, how to make it practical. It is best to isolate what feels essential and focus on how to proceed with developing that. Saturn stationed to go direct early this morning, offering ideas about structuring something anew, and the Virgo Moon brings discipline to harness our thoughts and hypothesize about “What if’s…” Virgo curiosity may wonder about how all the concerns of the day fit together. June 26 Tuesday The Virgo Moon is void of course this morning, dusting off the bits and pieces of Virgo. We, too, can get rid of superfluous data that is just cluttering our minds. At 11:15 am, MT, the Moon moves into everything-in-its-right-place Libra. The perfect method for expressing a passion may show up in a pleasant and excitable conversation. Finding the underlying commonality in exchanges can bring all together revealing how everyone fits into a bigger picture. Boundaries and privacy may be hard to find. A prevailing spirit may find many overly generous today with like-minded people. June 27 Wednesday With this first quarter Libra Moon we may feel like putting ourselves on the line about our ideals, especially with kindred souls. Issues around mutual values are at stake. The social power and influence of past interactions fuels optimism. An unbounded generosity of spirit assumes that all will go well. It feels like we’re inhaling and exhaling magic. There is, however, an underlying edginess. Some people, speaking authoritatively, may put others off with bluntness about what seems to them the overriding reality. Venus, stationary direct, at 9:08 am, MT, offers us the embodiment of passion, love, and fairness. June 28 Thursday The Moon is void of course since early morning, fanning off loyal Libra until mid-afternoon. Gentleness prevails during this time, enabling sentimentality, sacrifice, and naivety. At 2:32 pm, MT, the Moon moves into self-protective yet sharing Scorpio. With this sign we can feel comfortable in groups and today there are no barriers to such interacting. We can easily rise above privacy concerns. Some of us, however, may want to escape into our fantasies. The Scorpio part of us can be detached and uninvolved at times. Sometimes a mysterious aura engulfs Scorpio, and it appears to be preoccupied in another world. June 29 Friday With this Scorpio Moon we can perceive the emotional and archetypal levels that are inspiring us to pursue our heart’s passion. Secrets are uncovered in “charged” encounters. These stimulate a hunger for more information. Paying attention to flashes of intuition can accelerate arriving at a bigger truth of one’s situation. Advancing one’s cause depends on how actively one is bringing together all of the needed pieces. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. June 30 Saturday The Scorpio Moon entered her gibbous phase at 6:26 am, MT, telling us to stay focused on priorities. At 1:46 pm, the Moon goes void of course, draining off the penetrating insights of Scorpio and leaving us at the mercy of our motivations until 4:04 pm, when she moves into cheerful and adventurous Sagittarius. This can encourage maneuvering beyond old stuff to enthuse energy into some promising fresh approaches. Sunday one’s own truth can come out into the open if our guard is down, and we’re willing to take in new elements to enhance our passion. Sometimes we just have to look at things differently.
