Last Quarter and Balsamic Moon

November 5 Monday The voiding Moon is squeezing off the last shielding drops of Cancer this morning, leaving us to the mercy of circumstances. At 12:39 pm, MT, she moves into the flair of Leo, gathering respect for the understanding and explanations we express about behavior related to the awakening of wisdom. This can trigger an appreciation of unknown forces which assist us in changing and bringing innovation into our lives. The Leo part of us might feel special and aroused to perform with an awareness of the joie de vivre which gives pleasure to everyone within the circle of influence. November 6 Tuesday The Leo Moon on this Election Day reminds us of leadership and the ability to engage others in acts of improvement and renovation that get us out of dark places. We have choices and decisions to make. And Mercury is standing still to go retrograde at 4:04 pm, MT, punctuating the important question of who will lead? We can ask that question on a personal level about how we handle and take charge of the Leo part of our charts. The Moon enters her last quarter phase at 5:36 pm, when we can celebrate the value of a self-discovery made in this cycle. During this phase there is tension to commit to some change. November 7 Wednesday With this Leo Moon we can be stirred up to pursue understanding something. At 8:27 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course until this evening. We may continue our pursuit in a quiet, undercover sort of way. Indeed, we just might feel invisible. Boundaries seem not to exist, supporting a feeling of being able to go everywhere and do anything. New perspectives may flood into our minds but finding the right people with whom to share these view seems near impossible. And even if some do show up, it may be a struggle to gain their comprehension and/or enthusiasm for these bright ideas. November 8 Thursday This analytical Virgo Moon can bring up appropriate solutions as to how to execute a dramatic change of behavior. Virgo offers the self discipline and the know-how in taking the inner excitement and putting it into some external act with calm acumen. Virgo can appreciate the personal steps that piece things together into a desired state. There’s an easygoing spirit of optimism today, especially if we are able to recover our equilibrium after current tensions and go with our gut feelings. At its best Virgo can be reassuring while making personal experiments and innovations. November 9 Friday With this Virgo Moon we may start the day feeling a bit psychic, as inclinations seems to indicate ways of improving the way we deal with inspirations. Long-term commitments are desired. And a part of us wants to pour all our energy into going for a goal, but we will have to keep away from problem areas. At 5:27 pm, MT, the moon goes void of course until after midnight. While the Moon is scraping off the efficiency of Virgo, we may feel a bit confused or lost. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. November 10 Saturday The Libra Moon entered her balsamic phase at 8:47 am, MT. During this final stage of the cycle we are urged to gather together those things and people who remind us that life is a journey full of wake-up calls. Such a congregation can bring intimations of what to look for as we approach Tuesday’s solar eclipse. Great hidden strength is available if we look for magical possibilities. On Sunday we are reminded of our interdependency with each other as well as the limitations that come up in relationships. In order to have the best in a situation we may need to impose our views.
