Full and Disseminating Moon

November 26 Monday With this Taurus Moon we might push ourselves into action by deviating from the norm to overcome inertia. Taurus can sometimes be like a turtle, slow but steady. This afternoon the Moon links to Mercury in the opposite sign, Scorpio, appearing to stand still to switch from retrograde to direct motion. We may begin to feel differently about the things that have been on our minds. At 5:57 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for twenty-four hours, blurring the boundaries of solid Taurus as she peels it off her almost full body. It would be ideal to spend much of this time alone considering one’s self worth. November 27 Tuesday The Taurus Moon is void of course until late this afternoon. It’s best to dispense of expectations and approach what the day brings nice and easy, letting go of ego, possessiveness, and jealousy. Extreme self-discipline is easily accessible today along with urges to go deeper and deeper within oneself. Insights can lift one’s spirits, allowing for the envisioning of what is possible to accomplish. At 5:58 pm, MT, the Moon moves into curious and questioning Gemini. Many self-perceptions come to the surface, and with some effort self-discoveries can be plentiful. This can lead to a boost in confidence and enthusiasm. November 28 Wednesday The Earth begins to eclipse the versatile Gemini Moon at 5:14 am, MT, and at 7:46 am, the Moon is at her fullest while the Earth gets a straight on blast of the symbolic consciousness of the Sun. This is a heart to heart, Sun to us, experience which can melt or boil to the core the feelings we hold. Issues may come to the surface that prevent us from getting the emotional nurturing we seek from others. These revelations, extracted from within us, give us an inkling of changes we may want to make. Our wellbeing may depend on pushing social limits. At 6:04 pm, the Moon goes void of course until Friday morning, tapping into unlimited imagination. November 29 Thursday The Gemini Moon is void of course, fanning off nebulous thoughts all day. Subtle forms and ideas waft through our minds, some of them wiser than the oldest person alive. It’s possible to go deeper and deeper into our own wisdom through meditation or contemplation. We can branch out in that mode and mentally restructure some behaviors. If we plow through the day with our usual expectations, some of the worst traits of Gemini can present themselves, such as fragmentation, inconsistency, and incoherence. By focusing on sensitivity, we might still have to re-do a few things, but satisfaction may be the reward. November 30 Friday The Moon enters restorative Cancer at 6:55 am, MT. This morning we can feel capable of doing anything we can conceive. It’s as if we’re at a crossroads where, with some effort, we can break away from the status quo. There’s support readily available to integrate something special into our lives. We can respond to emotional needs by changing one single thing. Open-mindedness about life’s mysteries can guide us in striking the right chord today. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. December 1 Saturday With this Cancer Moon we may witness some emotional dramatics. Sometimes letting out one’s feelings without restraints helps to sort out what’s important. Joint ventures in expressing from the heart can put things in perspective. The Moon begins to void herself of encouraging Cancer late tonight until Sunday evening. Boundaries may be difficult to maintain on Sunday. At 10:58 am, the voiding Cancer Moon enters her disseminating phase when we may get intimations of what this Moon cycle is attempting to show us. As that scenario gets clearer, we can get more focused on change.
