Full and Disseminating Moon

February 25 Monday We have a full Moon in Virgo at 1:26 pm, MT, throwing out light on how we abandon our creative urges to experience something unusual by going after culturally established and accepted expression of creativity. Do they satisfy your impulses to be inventive or original? Some self-analysis today can inform us about how social and emotional forces are related. Sometimes they’re at odds with each other, but usually to help us discover things about ourselves. As the full Moon brings self-information into our consciousness, we need to sort out how it all fits together. February 26 Tuesday This morning the Virgo Moon connects with Mercury retrograde in the opposite sign of Pisces, suggesting we reflect on how we feel about our routine activities. Are we in a rut? Or do we throw ourselves into new enticements at every opportunity? External actions and thoughts can make one irritable and fidgety. It helps to focus on details. It’s easy to get into an unrealistic frame of mind, especially after 11:13 am, MT, when the Moon begins to void herself of matter-of-fact Virgo. Distractions can side-track us, and leave us feeling overwhelmed with facts. Instead of trying to analyze what’s going on, simply notice the emotional and spiritual subtleties. February 27 Wednesday The Moon moves into the high standards of Libra at 6:02 am, MT. This sign can help us see how well we match up to our expectations of creative achievement. Light is shed on how we meet our desires to break out of molds. The Libra in us may see all of this from two points of view, one’s internal perspective and that of observers. Our security needs come up. It’s natural to want to take care of oneself in the face of change. Lots of opinions are generated, but what’s important is what resonates with one’s heart. Libra loves public approval, but needs to give equal weight to personal views. February 28 Thursday The Libra Moon went void of course early this morning until tomorrow morning. While she is fanning off the deliberate actions of Libra, it may be difficult to make decisions or to just be satisfied with anything. We may feel inescapably taken along on whatever direction the flow of events and people is heading. Libra’s innate knack for laziness shows up. If there’s anything too strenuous, excuses for backing out may be heard. This is a day for duping, for self-deceiving and being deceived. Comparisons and assessments can be unrealistic. But the use of one’s imagination can be wonderful. March 1 Friday The void of course Libra Moon entered her disseminating phase during the night, a time for letting go of the past for a new future. As we begin the day, we may have a contemplative overview of what’s required of us to operate in an original manner. At 10:33 am, MT, the Moon moves into uncompromising Scorpio, showering feelings of starting anew to outdo oneself in the creative process. Sharing one’s resolve in social circles generates emotional surges of energy. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. March 2 Weekend With this Scorpio Moon we may be looking for underlying interpretations of our creative behavior. Various meanings come up in different contexts. Introspection may lead to action. The Moon goes void of course early Sunday morning for almost twelve hours. While the Moon is dispensing of penetrating Scorpio, we may be flooded with intuitive self-understanding. It’s wise to keep a low-profile during this voiding Moon. Being inconspicuous can prevent dissatisfaction. At 2:10 pm, MT, Sunday, the Moon moves into encouraging Sagittarius. There’s confidence to choose a specific course of action.
