Full and Disseminating Moon

Monday December 16 The Gemini Moon feels most at home getting to the heart of any connection. We can do that today with whatever we are focusing upon for balance in our lives. By identifying common factors, we can playfully find alternatives and experience variations of them. Spice up the day with imaginary associations that come together magically. Over-interpretations can lead to big ideas, even with an inappropriate mixture of details and context. Sometimes Gemini can get stuck in a groove, momentarily obsessed with something. It’s important to throw aside blockages today by switching gears. Tuesday December 17 The Gemini Moon was at her fullest early this morning, beginning to reveal how we build an ideally integrated life, or not. This full Moon also went void of course until late morning, blowing off intellectually observant Gemini. Such a condition is ideal for free association of words and images, much like a person does while interpreting a dream. Some ideas may be hyper-stimulating. At 11:17 am, MT, the Moon moves into the moral support of Cancer, which can make us feel like there is no better place to be today than where we are. Of course, we may have to work at this a bit by going after what’s desired. Wednesday December 18 This Cancer Moon is ready to reveal what is necessary to maintain a profoundly good arrangement in intimate heart to heart conversation. This means difficult issues must be addressed in a process of finding the right words to express responsibility. Avoiding childish outbursts is best. This could be a visit to those shadow habits one would rather not address. There could be a tendency to overdo behaviors to avoid conflicts between freedom and security. New emotional options are available for those who choose to explore them. Yet one could bite off more than can be chewed! Thursday December 19 This Cancer Moon supports us in articulating what seems impossible to say. There’s passivity to existing information. Concern is heavily focused on inner components of one’s individuality which do not contribute to emotional equilibrium. It’s important to continue to bridge negatively charged habits to reach an entirely new level of balance in one’s life. We’re either settling strife or stirring up more troubling experiences. Late tonight the Moon showers off the social bonding of Cancer for a little over two hours and at 11:48 pm, MT, moves into easily impressed Leo. Friday December 20 With this Leo Moon dramatic and magical experiences capture our attention and spur us to trust a process of rejuvenating and spicing up our lives by considering ways to handle social and emotional responsibilities. Recklessness and erratic behavior may call for heroic urges to be magnanimous with a dose of self-control to cooperate in a broad spectrum of interactions. Leo likes public contact. It often provides feedback for the Leo part of us. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend December 21 and 22 At 5:45 this morning the Leo Moon entered her disseminating phase when we are urged to push ourselves to get others caught up in our feelings about the importance of leading a balanced life. At 10:11 am, MT, the Sun entered the tropical sign of Capricorn, marking the winter solstice and calling attention to hope in these turbulent times. At 2:53 pm, Venus goes retrograde in Capricorn, beginning a process of deep emotional reflection on how we can restore peace in our lives. Sunday morning the Moon stops feeding the passions of Leo and at 12:10 pm, moves into the rational self-awareness of Virgo, helping us mark a path to better conditions.
