Balsamic and New Moon

Monday January 27 With this Sagittarius Moon contentment may be found in actively dispensing spiritual nourishment by sharing some of the comfort we feel in our own inner world. The Sagittarius Moon enters her balsamic phase at 10:12 am, MT, when it’s best to finish up any rearrangements we’ve decided upon during this cycle. We’ll soon be entering a new one with different habits to perceive. There are links from one cycle to another, and we might be enlightened by examining and comparing what we’ve learned about maintaining a good arrangement with how we sustain a spiritual life. The Moon goes void of course at 3:02 pm, MT, until late tonight. While she is putting out the enthusiasm of Sagittarius, we may be preoccupied with exploring new emotional options. Tuesday January 28 This Capricorn Moon brings up deep lessons from past experiences with the hope that they have been learned to prevent repetition of old mistakes. Such errors can stand in the way of activating impulses for innovation. We have the capacity to reach great heights today if we don’t fall into old, unproductive habits. Confronting the truth of certain behaviors and neutralizing any remnants of them can bring about different outcomes. Our will power will be tested. There’s quiet courage in Capricorn. This part of us can be principled and responsible and can be primed to take a stand. Some of us may be fortunate to have the support of people from our past who accept and maybe even encourage the modifications we make. Wednesday January 29 With this Capricorn Moon seen before the Sun rises, we may feel industrious. But as the morning progresses, withdrawal feels like a better course, leaving us in a frustrated state. At 9:47 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course for almost twelve hours. During this time in the balsamic phase, if we have been in the process of envisioning something new in our lives, we might see it in concrete form. It is important to discriminate between reality and illusion, or we could be fooled. Immune systems could be weakened during this time, as boundaries which protect us often become permeable during a voiding Moon. At 9:33 pm, the Moon moves into seemingly aloof Aquarius. Thursday January 30 The Aquarius Moon offers us the opportunity to see something about ourselves differently. It could be odd, or an emerging rebel, or just something unstable. At 2:39 pm, MT, we have a new Moon beginning a cycle with emphasis on our inner monologues. Often they provide us with realizations and flashes of fresh ideas. Our inner tete a tetes give us a different view of things. Sometimes they change our minds or offer us a new creative venture. It could be beneficial to jot down some of the inner chatter, each day. Journaling can also be a way of capturing our stream of consciousness in the process. Giving attention to inner thoughts and inspirations just might shed light on the web of our lives and reconnect us to the core of it. Friday January 31 With this Aquarius Moon we may be seeking direction from traditional sources while deep drives to succeed confront us with shortcomings. Wider experiences which activate unusual capacities are needed. To have these may call for an appetite for something outside of cultural ideals transmitted through the ages. An inspiration might provide the map needed, and such divine murmurings can abound while the Moon is void of course from 9:45 am, MT, until 8:45 pm, when the Moon moves into Pisces, the realm of more messages from the inner depths. Weekend February 1 and 2 This Pisces Moon may find some of us accessing the inner sanctums of our minds for calming, for fulfillment of a need and or for solutions to a problem. This could even be appealing for protection of some hugely intense interest. There are ways to ease concerns. The Moon goes void of course on Sunday at 9:35 am, MT, until late in the evening. While she is rinsing off psychically sensitive Pisces, it can be simple to slip into the flow of the day and be receptive to whatever appears. Everything our senses take in can be imported into our inner lives. It’s important to be centered within oneself during such a transaction. Sometimes the Pisces part of us can lose a sense of self.
