Crescent and First Quarter Moon

Monday June 2 With this Leo crescent Moon, many of us may feel cut off from the support of others and isolated by hidden restraints. It will take some work to boost confidence in one’s beliefs and rally up the courage to voice opinions. A recent inner obsession with structures which don’t seem to work urges one to offer advice about how to restore functionality. Acting on intuition reinforces trust in one’s convictions. This boosts efforts to express one’s views on how people need to be treated. There’s strong support from several sources to look at the past and discern the pattern of how one seeks to satisfy views of actual human dialectics with an ideal. Even the best examples of those former times can be improved upon. Focusing on besting the best can encourage greater growth! Tuesday June 3 The Leo Moon brings impulses to repeat the fun of past times. Such allurement can lead to abandoning the path to new personal awakenings being lit up by the Moon. Instead of indulging in an old pattern of creative expression, quiet down and seek inspiration. Most of today is ideal for that, as the Moon goes void of course at 8:42 am, MT, until tomorrow morning. While she is steaming off high-spirited Leo, we can be swallowed up in our personal stories. By using imagination we can re-create them. It’s possible in that process to space out and lose a sense of what really happened in the past. The reality of former times, however, is not as important as what our imaginations tell us can be. Wednesday June 4 The early morning void of course Leo Moon, brings longings for approval amidst fear of being overlooked. At 8:20 am, MT, the Moon moves into easily-stressed Virgo, a sign often immobilized by fears. With Virgo’s planet, Mercury, practically stationary, we may mull over thoughts and feelings more than usual and worry uncharacteristically about our ability to effectively speak about our beliefs. On a more positive note, the Virgo in us can excel in self discipline when it comes to learning something. And today we can realize our true feelings about beliefs we hold regarding the treatment of workers within organizations. Such revelations tell us there is much more hidden information about our personal views to be uncovered. Thursday June 5 With this Virgo Moon we can ruthlessly direct emotional forces to channel group dynamics toward common goals. This morning is a good time to affirm our motivation to self-examine how we stand up and speak out against injustices. The first quarter Moon phase begins at 2:39 pm, MT. It’s time to commit to expressing one’s convictions to single out one’s individualistic behavior in that regard. How assertively and instinctively do we do that? This phase is about learning by doing. Intuition can help us catch the flow of significant interactions. Readiness and alertness help, along with a concern for developing self-awareness. This process can lead to freedom from old, stale habits. Friday June 6 The Virgo Moon is void of course from early morning until tonight. While she is sweeping off the scrutinizing thoughts of Virgo, one’s speech can lose its sharpness. Conversations seem laced with vagueness. Forcing issues in confrontations produces more of a mess. It’s best to wander off alone, retreating into one’s mind for inspiration and a renewal of resolve. Surrendering to daily rituals on automatic pilot can also magically produce rich insights from the non-rational or psychic mind. The Moon moves into compromising Libra at 8:01 pm, MT. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend June 7 and 8 With this Libra moon we can kick into action, shaking off some dusty notions we share about how to protect common interests. It’s beneficial to take time with others to evaluate mutual conditions. Such collaboration can decipher patterns and come up with solutions to problem areas. On Sunday a sense of mission regarding people’s rights can create bonds which sustain one’s commitment to act on seeking satisfaction in resolving inequities. At 1:47 pm, MT, Sunday, the Moon goes void of course, fanning off the high standards of Libra until Monday morning. During this time, it may feel as if harmony can solve most conflicts. We may become overly involved in pleasing our companions. This can be both beneficial and detrimental.
