Disseminating and Last Quarter Moon

Monday June 16 The Aquarius Moon entered her disseminating phase early this morning. It’s time to look at things differently and acknowledge any new insight which dazzles your mind with its clarity about how you deal with inequities. Aquarius suggests inventing a social dynamic mentally which shifts interactions to a fair level. Self-realizations bring determination to do something beneficial for all concerned no matter how unpredictable the outcome. There can be difficulty letting go of the status quo, but bringing everything out in the open can help. The various values and viewpoints of others may stand in the way of coordinating a common, single-pointed focus. But a simple, shared condition can be the start of weaving a unified group. Tuesday June 17 With this Aquarius Moon we may want to put a group membership in a new context. There’s restlessness to leave a particular social milieu. We may find ourselves comparing and contrasting certain peer-level social interactions with Mercury retrograde back in Gemini. The Moon goes void of course at 12:07 pm, MT, for nineteen minutes of zooming out of the utopian mental meandering of Aquarius. It’s a good time for fantasizing on a better world. At 12:26 pm, the Moon moves into idealistic Pisces. There’s emotional pressure to try to fix at least one thing in our broken social fabric. Pisces bears the gift of seed ideas. Some of them may be just what we each personally need to bring some peace and harmony. Wednesday June 18 This Pisces Moon can slip through oppressive matter like a knife slicing water. So also our minds can flow through ideas offering ways to work out tensions. Pisces can intuitively create a way to synthesize the pros and cons in a situation. The Pisces part of our lives fuses with everything there, which can sometimes be a mess unless discrimination is developed. Understanding the structure and patterns of key conditions today and what works and what doesn’t, can help define what to eliminate and what to avoid. The deep lessons of the past can be reminders of how to facilitate needs and maintain feelings of security. There are, of course, other approaches to explore. Thursday June 19 With this Pisces Moon we may be concerned about the conditions of others. At 12:39 pm, MT, the Moon enters her last quarter phase. During the next four days the meaning and purpose of this cycle about how we sort out social role divisions becomes clear. Slipping into another’s shoes and role playing different sides can help us recalibrate how we address social inequities. Mercury retrograde connects to the Moon and the Sun, as well, today, beginning a change of thought and voice. The Moon goes void of course at 1:05 pm for two and a half hours of rinsing off the mixed feelings of Pisces. At 3:26 pm, she moves into action-oriented Aries. With this Moon we may welcome a challenge. Friday June 20 With this Aries Moon we may have to deal with tense, relentless situations, festering deep anger, triggered by issues of responsibility and accountability. Pushing through this stress requires calming the mind to get into the rhythm of daily tasks and duties. Impulsive actions can lead to dead ends. Tempers can explode, triggered by overwork and a need for independence. Mature consideration is required. Pausing during a heated moment and breathing deeply can have a calming effect. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend June 21 and 22 The Sun moved into individualistic Cancer at 4:51 am, MT, marking the Summer Solstice. The Aries Moon brings private encounters with the past this morning. Obligations are thrust upon us. Thwarted expectations somehow free us from social pressures. The Moon goes void of course at 4:24 pm, for four and a half hours. While the Moon is snuffing out the vitality of Aries, it’s best to go with the flow. At 9:03 pm, the Moon moves into stabilizing Taurus. We may feel refreshed enough to shift the orientation of our awareness. On Sunday, even if the sluggishness bug of Taurus overcomes us, we can awaken to a different way of handling the drudgery of unfair social conditions.
