First Quarter and Gibbous Moon

Monday September 1 This morning’s Scorpio Moon brings strange perceptions which mobilize our attention and climax in an emotional release. The Moon goes void of course at 9:40 am, MT, for an hour and a half of melting away the deceptively suave veneer of Scorpio. During this time it’s ideal to strip away barriers to a greater spiritual life. At 11:17 am, the Moon moves into the adventures of Sagittarius. This sign can take us beyond the limits we have knowingly or unknowingly set on what we believe to be the totality of our existence. Our spiritual aspirations come into question. There’s a need to open one’s heart to a greater enlightening of our spiritual nature. It helps to take a philosophical attitude. Tuesday September 2 The Sagittarius Moon enters her first quarter phase at 5:11 am, MT. At this point in the cycle a complete commitment to take action on living up to one’s faith in higher spiritual levels is required. There are opportunities to make moves which can re-integrate divisions in the physical, psychological and spiritual levels of our existence. There’s much support from mythic creatures like fairies, elementals, and angels to bring together different aspects of our being. To circle in on what prevents a complete interactive flow of our levels of being, we need to recognize where the decay is in our lives and deal with these useless elements in innovative ways. Wednesday September 3 With this Sagittarius Moon which favors broadening experiences, there’s accessibility to spiraling up socially spiritual evolution to a higher vantage point. There are human links coming together and leading to the fruits of one’s quest. At 12:06 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for almost four hours of quenching the zeal of Sagittarius. We may feel overwhelmed, even immobilized by the enormity of what is happening. It’s best not to try to do too much, but simply include a space for the sublime to inspire you. At 4:15 pm, the Moon moves into the urge for self mastery of Capricorn. Our thoughts and feelings about materializing a more evolved self must shift from a point of transitioning to the actual manifestation of the desire. This requires a letting go of some old ways. Thursday September 4 This Capricorn Moon day is a good time for shaping up a substantial sense of how one participates with all of life. We can accumulate examples of how we integrate the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of our lives from weak to profound. There’s a surge of acumen, and we might be able to identify our spiritual source-point which unifies all our sub-parts. There’s gung-ho-like motivation to awaken to a constant flow of spirit. To achieve this one must find what is needed in our common humanity and basic requirements. One must perceive and follow the essential energy behind cultural realities. Friday September 5 This Capricorn Moon offers revitalization to cultivate a more spiritual grounding through penetrating layers of our being and seeing our underlying patterns. At 9:08 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course for almost nine hours of shoveling off the serious intent of Capricorn. During this time at 3:06 pm, the Moon enters her gibbous phase when it’s best to focus on the priority of this cycle which is to bring the hidden spiritual influences in our lives to the surface. At 5:59 pm, the Moon moves into humanitarian Aquarius, highlighting the shape of our spiritual and social relationships. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend September 6 and 7 The Aquarius Moon gives us a sense of spiritual release in community Saturday. We can see how we mix business with common sharing of our spirit and how we uplift each other. A view of our spiritual cultivation is taking shape in our imaginations. We’re not sure, however, if we’ve gotten the best frame of reference for making adjustments and deciding what should be maintained. It’s best to enhance every level of our being. On Sunday at 11:19 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course for over six hours of shoving aside the social interests of Aquarius. It’s best to turn inward during this time and open up channels to higher influences. At 5:47 pm, the Moon moves into Pisces, open to everything we humans can brew.
