Disseminating and LAst Quarter Moon

Monday December 8 This Cancer Moon oozes confidence to handle an intense social scene. There’s a need to focus on the inner workings of a shared project that could avoid a catastrophe and take one in an entirely new direction which promises greater clarity. Even though the day begins with this struggle, by the afternoon there’s a glorious feeling of emerging into a whole new dynamic. The flow of conversations and thought-processes renews hope for the human family. The inner currents in each of us related to the sign of Cancer can bring new life from the deepest caverns of consciousness. Images with the power to restore a sense of wholeness and order float into our minds. Tuesday December 9 With this Cancer Moon the parent or authority figure in us comes out in communications. This can lead to arguments or intellectual sparring. Penetrating questions get quick retorts. It’s easy to discipline one’s mind to curtail ongoing verbal attacks. Besides, there can be a heavy-duty situation which can only be handled with straightforward seriousness. The Moon goes void of course at 6:42 pm, MT, for an hour and a half of rinsing off the emotional self-confidence of Cancer. During this time vulnerability may take over, leaving us feeling like a crab with no shell. It could be comfortable to simply hide in the security of one’s home. At 8:14 pm, the Moon moves into playful Leo! Wednesday December 10 The Leo Moon entered her disseminating phase early this morning. It’s time to demonstrate what one has learned about personal responses to human conditions during this Moon cycle. Do instincts and emotions burst forth with strong specious feelings drawing others into agreement with them, or is there a social stiffness which leaves one wondering what’s really going on? In either event, what needs to be done to create a desirable social milieu? The planet Venus leaves Sagittarius for Capricorn today, bringing the ideals of a melting pot society into an organized framework. The essential patterns of our social perspectives and engagements are up for intense intervention. Thursday December 11 Today’s Leo Moon reminds us that we all participate in a bigger picture than that of our private lives. There’s a cooperative level which many take for granted, never thinking about the role played in sharing roads, schools, libraries, theatres, and so many other things. The Leo in each of us needs to circulate the truth of our commonly enjoyed experiences which resonate with our mythic traditions. What is called for on the part of each and every one of us is a fearless participation in society, meeting challenges and surprises with courage. Our wellbeing depends on a high level of confidence and trust. Friday December 12 The Moon goes void of course at 5:48 am, MT, for two and a half hours of snuffing out the courage of Leo to be different. During this time it can be difficult to hold one’s own, but one’s aesthetic sense can be enhanced. At 8:19 am, the Moon moves into the cooperative work world of Virgo. With this part of us, we can live up to our faith in the value of involving ourselves with others. There’s an awareness of our collective dreams for harmoniously sharing this planet with all its inhabitants. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend December 13 and 14 The Virgo Moon sends waves of feelings about what’s rotten and needs composting and off-gassing, at least metaphorically in our connections with others. Realistic appraisal of situations is called for this Saturday, along with a gnawing awareness that each of us has a task to perform if we want better conditions. Sunday morning at 5:51, MT, the Moon enters her last quarter phase when we must admit to the need to change some views about social conditions. It’s time to put one’s self on the line and cross the border into a new way of dealing with certain interactions. Exchanges of ideas can shape and cultivate a flow of complexities which represent our best interests.
