Gibbous and Full Moon

Monday December 29 This Aries Moon pumps up energy to the point of things seeming to go in all directions at once. Every deed done creates a rippling effect of impacts and exchanges. Simple truths are shared and seem to uphold belief systems. Freedom and space are needed to express all that one is feeling. Such interactions offer much value, but what is most important requires seeing the inner and outer implications of what is said. It helps to get into a lofty head-space to grasp this. At 5:46 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course for the rest of the day. While she is snuffing out the over activity of Aries, situations can become unstable. Hidden reserves of energy may be needed for those “must do” tasks. Tuesday December 30 With this Taurus Moon we awake with a solid sense of what must be done today. The magic of having clear intentions kicks us over obstacles with ideal precision. There’s just the right mix of determination and skill to efficiently fine-tune the responsible thing to do. If it works, keep at it. If it’s getting desired results, trust that it’ll get you through all the rough stages. There can be some awkward fumbling that leads to reformulating what was thought to be completed. Taurus can be industrious and find new ways to modify a project. However, a lack of certainty can produce reluctance to continue performing. Encouragement to proceed is needed. Wednesday December 31 With this Taurus Moon it’s a struggle to get things done. Even if we’re recreating on this New Year’s Eve day, activity takes effort. We need to synchronize our thoughts and desires, both the inner with the outer so that we’re completely present in the moment, doing what we want with total attention and intention. With determination and, perhaps inventiveness, we can get past emotional obstacles. This evening we can celebrate the value of this past year in our personal life and enjoy the blessings we receive from the earth we live on. It’s a good evening to cherish the earthly wisdom gained so far and share appreciation for it. Thursday January 1 Early this morning the Taurus Moon entered her gibbous phase when finishing touches are needed for the satisfaction desired in this lunation. At 5:19 am, MT, the Taurus Moon went void of course for almost five hours. While she is brushing off trustworthy Taurus, we may feel reluctant to be industrious this holiday. It’s a morning for lounging at least until 10:09 am, when the Moon moves into “always on the move” Gemini. It becomes a day with lots to see and lots to do, especially with long-time friends! There’s an enthusiastic need for activity beyond the usual. Reaching out for something special will take a clear intent and some boldness. Have and happy and prosperous 2015! Friday January 2 There’s an air of excitement this morning with the Gemini Moon. We might be pushing the limits to learn something, yet underlying stuff side-tracks us. Staying on a wave-length of integrated thoughts and feeling can lead to fulfillment of an objective. Gemini can make concentrated efforts at bringing things together. This part of us is energized today to co-ordinate all that is needed to stay in control of one’s situation. Gemini can bring experiences together into a new synthesis by innovatively restructuring. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend January 3 and 4 The Gemini Moon went void of course early this morning. While she is blowing off tricky Gemini until this evening, confusion can reign. It’s best to pay extra attention to details, lest things get really messy. There’s a strong sense of control this afternoon. At 6:08 pm, MT, the Moon moves into the practical assistance of Cancer. On Sunday a pleasing social scene can offer support as we approach an intense full Moon at 9:53 pm. Over the next few days, gut feelings can reveal a lot about whether or not we actually change our behavior when we realize how we react to a need or deficiency which we thought we were committed to handling.
