Balsamic and New Moon

Monday March 16 The Moon moved into the calm detachment of Aquarius early this morning. Intuition points to social opportunities. Some of them offer a sense of how the collective population is really viewing the world scene today. We can tap into the deeper core of our psyches for an exchange of emotional perspectives which reveal both the divisions within oneself as well as those in humanity at large. Deep upsurges of feelings buffet us for release. It’s a time for inner purging and cleansing, especially with the last of seven exact challenges tonight between the planets Uranus and Pluto. They represent the rebellious claims and disruptive demands in the collective struggle of overthrowing the old order of things for the evolution of better conditions for all. Tuesday March 17 This morning’s Aquarius Moon brings erratic fluctuations of an inward capability for simplicity and an outer complexity of demands. Late last night the Moon entered her balsamic phase when we need to bring together everything we’ve learned in this lunation about how we advance social and cultural ideals and brew up a vision of peace. We can be motivated by Pentecost-like revelations of spirit for how to do this. At 12:18 pm, MT, the Moon goes void of course until tomorrow morning. During this time, there can be unusual occurrences suggesting we go within for inspirations and inventive ideas. Wednesday March 18 This Pisces Moon, mostly hidden from sight, brings psychic sensitivity to those who would disturb tranquility. Steering clear of such vibes would be wise and socially good. That will make it easier to be intent on visualizing moving closer to one’s ideals. The details of lofty aspirations come into view brighter and bigger and permeate minds with subtle impressions. Thoughts of uncertainly can swing moods from pleasurable participation to manipulative competition. Pisces can be pulled in many directions when there are conflicting claims on attention, resulting in muddleheaded feelings and indecision. Thursday March 19 With this Pisces Moon we are urged to come to terms with elements of the past which stand in the way of achieving ideals. This might be conditions of victimization which have left one at the mercy of being saved by others. Or it could be holding onto a notion of some perfect state without any rational support for its excellence. Utopian concepts can turn out to be illusory if not grounded in any reality. This can be the vulnerable side of the Pisces in us. It’s like a mirage impossible to grasp. Pisces can be too easily impressed and so influenced to the point of being enchanted, under a spell. Friday March 20 At 3:36 am, MT, we had a new Moon and solar eclipse in the sign of Pisces. This cycle is about how we grow into an ideal and are bound by it. Just an hour after the eclipse the Moon entered the potency of Aries, and at 4:45 pm, the Sun moves into Aries, marking the vernal equinox. Intuition is heightened to see how ingrained, emotionally, some ideals are in our lives. Feeling pressured today can be signaling a need to take control of one’s allegiances. Well-being is promoted by letting a new factor unfold. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend March 21 Saturday’s Aries Moon is seeded with pregnant ideas. Intuitive penetration can reveal inklings of their potential. The Moon goes void of course at 4:45 pm, MT, for almost twelve hours of snuffing out the impetuous urges of Aries. Exhaustion may set in while intuitive flashes increase. On Sunday at 4:40 am, the Moon moves into well equipped Taurus to grasp the important values which constitute an ideal worth pursuing. Profound thoughts can send us on a spiritual quest. We can be susceptible to questionable influences if we refuse to think rationally about what is attracting us. Some allurements are slippery and operating on more than one level.
