Gibbous and Full Moon

Monday March 30 With this Leo Moon there’s uncertainty about how to hold together some long-term relationships. The Moon goes void of course at 7:57 am, MT, until tomorrow afternoon. One can easily escape into a dream world today. That can be more preferable than the actual surrounding realities. The power to visualize is strong and readily available. It’s a perfect time to imagine ideal conditions and set the stage for them to materialize. It’s possible to see dysfunctional behavior dissolve, and even to identity illusions and dismiss them. Conversely one might not recognize anything wrong with the Leo part of self. Tuesday March 31 The Moon is voiding herself of Leo’s self-assurance until this afternoon. Early this morning she entered her gibbous phase when we can foresee what is coming together regarding the spiritual ideals that mold our lives. For this to come to fruition we need to deepen our resolve to be more aware of this pattern in our lives. At 12:12 pm, MT, the Moon moves into the analyzing self-awareness of Virgo, feeling driven to sort things out and to select a path of action. A shift in attitude may be necessary to deal with the issues which are raised. Some attachments might stand in the way of getting the whole picture of one’s behavior related to the high standards guiding one’s life. Wednesday April 1 When we awake with this Virgo Moon, there can be a tendency to expose rough, messy edges. Something about our beliefs is coming out into open view. They seem to be like budding leaves. Their appearance may trigger worry about discovering one’s worst fears about what’s directing one’s live. This can make the Virgo part of us feel defenseless with no basis for the rational explanations which fuel daily behaviors. We may need to confront a self image which we thought was powerful but in reality has been manipulative. There may be some personal rules which can help one maneuver through emerging insights. Thursday April 2 The Virgo Moon went void of course early this morning until after midnight. While she is dusting off the fussiness of Virgo, we may need to think twice before rejecting something. It’s best to avoid fault-finding, and put off analyzing what’s best to do until tomorrow. Today it’s easy for confusion to creep into one’s reasoning. It’s best to jot down ideas and ponder them later. Mental activity might be sluggish. It will take a lot of energy to overcome inertia in the rational zone; however, intuition offers lots of inspiration. We can adjust our minds to focus on dreams for the future of our health, fitness, and work. Friday April 3 The Libra Moon is accompanied by the sense of knowing just how to get one’s ideas across about how to establish the best perspective on one’s ideals. Shifts and changes occur in one’s thoughts about the heart of matters. Some may be based on crazy notions, memories, or long-standing dreams. Significant others may help in shaking off some dark conceptions of one’s personal views. Sometimes the Libra in us can be deliberately blind to reality as it is. The distorting lens of perfection can get in the way. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend April 4 and 5 This morning at 6:05, MT, we had a full Moon eclipsed by the earth. We may be bothered by repetitive behaviors generated by some belief which no longer makes sense. Yet it is tightly woven into the fabric of daily activities. There may be a habit over indulged. It’s best to go with one’s gut feeling about what issue this eclipse is singling out. At 9:58 am, the Moon went void of course until Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning, stuff may come up for a breakthrough. At 1:04 pm, the Moon moves into renewing Scorpio. Emotional surges indicate the need for change and suggest we actively engage in a ritual of transition by identifying a pattern which has been dominating the kind of ideal life we seek.
