Gibbous and Full Moon

Monday April 27 The Leo Moon has a sense of adventure. There’s willingness to take risks which are linked to the possibility of having some fun. At 8:12 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course until this evening. While she’s extinguishing the sunny disposition of Leo, we may be out of sorts with a certain self-aspect we consider magnificent. Impatience and even rage can set in if expectations are not met. It’s difficult to know what’s what anymore. Spending some time exploring some of the hidden worlds within oneself can bring up the playful or even mischievous parts of our selves which want to be recognized and heard. After 7:07 pm, is the best time to analyze self-discoveries. That’s when the Moon moves into Virgo. Tuesday April 28 With this Virgo Moon we can find the best way to draw out our inner voice and express the truth about some matter consuming our thoughts. The basic feelings exposed can reveal how we celebrate, or not, the spirit and beauty of our souls. Our internal dialogue is also an indication of our spiritual connections or lack thereof. Are we wildly tuned in or soberly unaware of what some call an inner sanctum. Thoughts and feelings for Virgo can go in opposite directions. This sign has a tendency to isolate which can be to revel in the magic of life or to separate from it and deaden the senses. The intention needs to be to do the right thing. Wednesday April 29 This Virgo Moon brings a palpable feeling of instincts for guidance in tense social situations when teamwork is needed to advance a plan. Ambitious aims supply the stamina to prevail in spite of obstacles, especially emotional ones. Throughout the day there’s a quickening of awareness of the ideals being sought amidst extremes of interference and distractions. Yet we can get through it all by focusing on the desired image. Virgo knows how to make modifications and adaptations to existing forms and can think up alternatives. The discriminating mind of Virgo operates in some part of our lives. It could be the inner thoughts about values that guide some of us today. Thursday April 30 The Virgo Moon entered her gibbous phase last night. It’s time to sum up how we listen to our inner truth. With this Virgo Moon our attention is focused on self-capabilities this morning. The Moon goes void of course at 6:23 am, MT, for about an hour and a half of dusting off the astuteness of Virgo. We may feel scattered until 8:03 am, when the Moon moves into collaborative Libra. Our minds may circle around a shared goal and how to work together to achieve it. Our inner thoughts may scroll over past connections, looking for those who exhibited beneficial influences. We don’t want to get stuck by choosing companions without the requisite skills for the job ahead. We need the truthful appraisal of our inner self in making a selection. Friday May 1 This gibbous Libra Moon eases us into a day of dealing with messes and tensions. There’s deeply buried emotional debris that spews itself in the middle of business relationships. Outbursts exceed social limitations. If we let feelings get the best of us, the outcome could be disastrous. It’s important to stand by what we know to be true and, with an open heart, work out disagreements with colleagues. Emotional adjustments may need to be made to nip what’s shaping up in the bud. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend May 2 and 3 The Libra Moon went void of course early this morning until this evening. While she is slipping out of the compromising graces of Libra, we may feel insecure and dissatisfied with how we’ve behaved lately. At 7:47 pm, MT, the Moon moves into the insightful depths of Scorpio. On Sunday there may be difficulty sharing one’s thoughts. We can get into a lofty head-space where careful thinking is needed. At 9:42 pm, we have a full Moon, beginning a phase of revealing how well we connect the dots between what we know to be true and how we trust in it and act accordingly, plunging into the reality. Or do we doubt our inner voice and fumble about, not certain of how to deal with it.
