Last Quarter and Balsamic Moon

Monday May 11 The Aquarius Moon entered her last quarter phase early this morning and went void of course. It’s time to take care of inner needs not handled by the external reality. Specific solutions emerge from an internal understanding that what we truly need to know will come to us. We need to remember those times when some explanations seem to make little sense until suddenly, like a cloud moving away from the Sun, we see things clearly. Inner channels can be wide open today, delivering insights to ease dissatisfactions and discomforts. The Moon moves into the private feeling realm of Pisces at 8:53 pm, MT. Emotions get stirred by a desire to externalize an ideal. Tuesday May 12 With this Pisces Moon and its lack of boundaries, we can easily keep track of what’s going on in our surroundings. We might even see in others’ behaviors some of our personal habits and also realize which of our actions we‘ve projected on others. A psychological evaluation of personal thoughts can reveal how some elements of the past have trapped and limited us. Beliefs and assumptions which we live by, dwell in the realm of Pisces and shape and structure that area of our lives, sometimes to the point of operating like robots there. Some of the deficiencies or flaws in such displays can show up today. Wednesday May 13 With a Pisces Moon we can find out about the hidden side of things and consider their intrinsic worth. At 10:55 am, MT, the Moon goes void of course until late tonight. The rest of the day can be like a lucid dream. We are aware of where we are, but there’s something different or strange happening. We can engineer a fantasy, imaging interactions with fictional characters instead of the real individuals we’re engaged with. Factors which have been emotionally disruptive can be isolated. All it takes is letting one’s imagination arrange the desired events and outcomes. At 11:13 pm, the Moon moves into the bold adventures of Aries. Thursday May 14 Impatience can often show up with the Aries Moon, and this day begins with feelings of being burdened socially. At 1:40 pm, MT, the Moon enters her balsamic phase. These last few days of this lunation are for envisioning what kind of social recognition one deserves based on life experiences so far. What does intuition tell you about your level of excellence and short-comings? Colleagues from the past confirm an assessment of one’s accomplishments. A whole parade of adventures can come together in memories, weaving expertise and potential in ways that make the unacceptable acceptable. Friday May 15 The Aries Moon brings aspirations to transcend the ordinary. These feelings trigger magical thinking at 6:03 am, MT, when the Moon goes void of course for the rest of the day. Activity becomes symbolic, doing things with the hope of manifesting a vision. It’s hard to know how fruitful actions can be. We could be chasing rainbows. Things don’t seem to fit in anywhere. Even with the best of plans, it’s hard to muster the self-discipline to stick with them. The best that can be done is being receptive to inspirations and seeking the highest good. Listen to MoonWise tomorrow on the worldwide web at ksfr.org from 2:00 to 2:30 pm, MT, for the weekend Moon Minute. Weekend May 16 and 17 The Taurus Moon reminds us of our talents and capabilities. We are all made of star gems with lots of potential still waiting to be discovered. Some awareness can be made by getting in a lofty-head space and conjuring up a stellar ability. We can finely hone what’s best for us. On Sunday we can be empowered to keep visualizing what we want in our lives. At 10:13 pm, MT, we begin a new lunation. This new Moon brings up our emotional perspective on life and how we fit into it. Over the next few days the personal theme of the cycle can become clear if we notice the esteem and dignity we have for our social contributions. As the Moon begins this cycle, she also voids herself of trustworthy Taurus, helping us be more accepting of our true value.
